Definitely the best team on paper. Certainly played really well so far. Definitely the best.
No doubting that.
Just saying that I wouldn’t underestimate the Americans. That’s where the conversation started. Watching how they move the puck, especially on the power play(which cCanada has yet to display), it’s quite interesting to say that we should handily beat them.

I wouldn't read anything into that first U.S-Russia game for obvious reasons.

You can read as much into it as you can any individual game. That is to say one game has very little barring on the others.

I think he has an unusually young team here this year and I also think you need to give Larionov some time to work with the players to get some consistency with what he is trying to do. All coaches need to make adjustments as well. He definitely can't hang on to the goalie's stick for him or get the puck to stick to him
