In case folks weren't paying attention this past weekend, the Colts Matt Gay playing at Ravens (on grass) was 5/5 on FGs, and first NFL player with 4 FGs in one game over 50 yards (54, 53, 53, 53) with the last one the OT game winner. His 1st FG on the day was 31yds. Bass earned the full month (3 games) award, but Gay's Wk 3 performance may not be repeated, let alone topped, for decades.

It's been 3 weeks of their careers...

Gay's performance last weekend was out of this world. Particularly when you also consider that the other team's kicker is the GOAT. And he missed one.

I wouldn't be surprised if Hamlin and Elam are active as a result (with Lewis inactive), so this could be Hamlin's first action (special teams).

Rapp is an instant starter on many other teams & I'm pretty sure he signed such a cheap 1yr deal in Buffalo for auditions like these.

I'm nowhere near as concerned as i might have been in previous years. If Allen or Diggs were to be ruled out, that would be an appropriate time to panic.

Speed wise sure, Rapp can run. Instinct wise though, that's where the impact will be felt: if Rapp isn't in the right position, all the speed in the world won't help.
