Good news is 3-1 should give us a 70 percent chance or higher at playoffs. After winning today it’s going to be doable. We should beat the Chargers and Patriots so we’d have to split Cowboys and Dolphins.
did you look at the tie breakers and how many teams are 7-6 ? I doubt our odds are anywhere near that.

Nah. We're still REALLY behind the 8-ball with tiebreakers at 10-7. Plus, Cincy and Denver have H2H over us.

If our odds at 10-7 are even 50% I'd be shocked.
3-1 gives us a chance IF the loss is to Dallas. But it's far from certain and still needs plenty of help.

4-0 is both doable and could be necessary. Dallas is going to be tough next week.

Like 60 percent if we lose to Miami and win the other 3. Roughly 70 percent if we lose to Dallas and win the other 3.

99 percent if we win out.

playoffstatus.com has us at 45% if we finish 10-7, but that doesn't take into account the fact Stroud/Burrow/Watson are hurt either (future games are rated by record only)

It's also not broken up by who we lose to, and although tiebreakers don't look great either way - a loss to Dallas does open up a couple of extra possibilities.

League wants us to believe they gifted us w defensive holding call. After kc mugged and held every receiver in the second half. Well, okay. We played thru this bs and never gave up even w josh and others seeing enhanced reality pikachu coming after them.

Both teams are exciting enough to add talmud control bs .

Oh where are sports as hockey is now quidditch ( f harry potterstein ) w a puck w a mind of it's own f u all commissioners and return sports w many trophys owed since 90s.
Next Dallas , home field and hopefully we all learn to win in a fluid no rules bs environment

Where are you pulling these numbers from?

I'm dinking around with the ESPN playoff machine......and we're losing out on "strength of victory" tiebreakers all over the place as well as our shit-ass conference record.
There's a chance Indianapolis can erase H2H losses for us at 10-7 if our loss is to Dallas and their wins aren't specifically LV and CIN (and they win their last NFC game).

But overall if we finish 10-7 we'll probably need there to be no more than 2 other 10-7 wild cards which is absolutely not out of the realm of possibility.

Very funny game where I come out feeling just as I did before

Was over the moon in the first half obviously and then it was a frustrating clench but a win is a W sandwich as Jameis shows

-If they win out they're definitely in, and maybe even have the division since Dolphins end with Dallas, Baltimore, and the Bills
-If they drop one game they'll need some help, but it's not crazy since the help would be bad teams losing
-If they lose two, they're almost certainly dead

Doesn't need to be more complicated than that
I see the vision

Lose to Dallas, win the next two with relative ease, Miami is the key

The AFC is so stupidly wide open. And with Allen, Mahomes, Tua, Jackson and Lawrence basically the only starters left standing right now......who the hell knows what will happen.

Just win.

Dunne may have inadvertently given McDermott the greatest gift he could have; something for the locker room to galvanize around in support of their coach.

it makes sense. the current players are around him every day, so telling response as to how they feel.

i’m also glad hardly anyone commented on it before the game. they just went to work and got a huge win. it’s good to be challenged when it comes to keeping the noise out

One score game record 2020-2023 (playoffs included)...

Bills - 17-17 - .500 win%
Chiefs - 29-10 - .743 win%

Lawrence is banged up too. High ankle sprains don't just go away...overall the schedule is probably too easy for them to blow it but they do go to Baltimore next Sunday.

Baltimore could have been in play if they lost to the Rams today too. Their schedule on the way in is not easy (JAX, SF, MIA, PIT). Would have been a little insurance in case Miami does manage to beat them.

Boy is Mahomes whining about the offside call. Seriously, dude, watch the tape.
I get not wanting to throw your teammate under the bus, but that's when you do the "I don't agree with the call but it is what it is, we'll move forward and work hard to prepare for the next game" line. But you don't go to the extreme he is...this is absolutely insane:

So playoff status is actually 45% to MISS the playoffs at 10-7, so 55-45 there (with no knowledge of who we lose to, but the simulation would be slanted for the loss to come to Dallas or Miami since they're both 9-3)

This is where he needed someone in his circle to talk him down before the PC. Considering who's around him I'm willing to bet he doesn't have that.
