I personally think that the organization needs to purge anyone drafted or acquired since like January 2020.

Diggs came right after that but I also assume he will become a malcontent if we miss the playoffs this year. His contract stipulations are big, but even he could be expendable if the right team (say Chicago) was interested.

I'm not trying to be a debbie downer, I just think that, unlike with Kelly, we could get an entirely different core around Allen and I think it would work so long as Beane knows what he's doing.

Except we don't, really. We still control our own destiny for the division. Win out and we catch Miami.

Obviously that's going to be difficult which is why we look around the league, but that's not really that different from other years. We weren't in that different of a spot two years ago after the Colts or the windy Pats game.

11-6 is still pretty much a lock for the playoffs even if they drop a couple.
