As long as he is healthy by TDL next year, if he's performing at the same level, he's going to bring back a 1st round pick..Its a great deal
That's the dream unfortunately I just can't see that happening

Another though... I think that slakovsky played his best hockey on Monohan wing, not sure if other agree. So there may be a mentoring angle to this too.

CC - Suzuki - RHP
Anderson - Dach - Hoffman
Slaf - Monohan - Gally
Pezz - Evans - Armia

If you get PLD, you drop Pezz to the press box, and hoffman to 3r or 4th.

I agree that Slaf was good with Money Hands. Money's also a good mentor for him...

I'd keep RHP and Anderson together. RHP really helped Anderson. Also, not sure Cole, Suzuki, RHP has enough size 5 on 5. RHP can definitely play the bumper on the pp with them

Imo, don't separate RHP and Anderson. Anderson had the best production per game in his career once RHP was called up.

Let's see if he can keep it up. If he can't, he can't. But let's see.

That RHP - Suzuki - Anderson line was too good for a good while.

Almost want to see how Dach - Caufield would do.

Then Slafkovsky-Monahan.

This is what I want to see also.

But of course not easy to break up Caufield and Suzuki. At least they would get to pkay together onnthe pp.

Well it is asking a lot of Dach to grow his game with a raw rookie and Anderson for wings.

If none of Drouin, Gurianov, Belzile, Byron and Tierney returns, we'd still have 15 forwards as of now
  1. Suzuki
  2. Caufield
  3. Dach
  4. Slafkovsky
  5. Monahan
  6. Evans
  7. Pitlick
  8. Pezzetta
  9. Ylonen
  10. RHP
  11. Anderson
  12. Gallagher
  13. Armia
  14. Hoffman
  15. Dvorak

16 with Gurianov (he's RFA like Ylonen/RHP), Habs were apparently trying to resign him under his QO.

Some of them have to get traded before the season start.

With Monahan being prone to injuries, we definitely need at least 5c's going into the year.

So in addition to Suzuki, Dach, Monahan, and Evan's, Dvo or Belzile should be retained, or we should sign someone else.
