Yes it is confirmed. Is it confirmed that he is going back to College? Most guys who play in the Worlds play NHL the next year, no?
I think Farrell and Wright are a perfect match for each other. Both have high IQ and a solid 200 ft game. One is undersized with great playmaking ability, while the other has good size and great shot.@montreal I just binge watched a bunch of your Farrell videos. I didn’t get the chance to watch a lot of his games live throughout the year and I wanted to get a better feel for his game. Great vids by the way.
He has legitimate top 6 upside. He’s a good skater, good shot, good hands, hockey IQ… everything. He’s underrated and should be a player for us for a long time.

Unless, in the low probability scenario he makes it straight through from camp? He'll play another year of college then turn pro
Im not sure NCAA prospect can come to the main campUnless, in the low probability scenario he makes it straight through from camp?

That's stupid. Farrell is a drafted player, and as such should be able to attend any camps his NHL team want to see him. These old rules should be changed. They can't, they can come to development camps if they pay their own way and take nothing from the NHL team not even a comped meal

The development camp is the most boring thing on Earth... for us, the fans. The rookies Camp is way more exciting. He must be comong to development camp?
I'mbreally looking forward to it. Glad Mailloux will be there, though too bad we won't be able to see him in inter-squad scrimmages.
But really looking forward to seeing Farrell, Roy, Kidney, Xhekaj, and the 2022 draft cohort.

Yeah. That is why it is stupid. You draft these College kids and you could wait 4 years (at most) to see them in a real rookies Camp with your other prospects. He can, he would just lose his NCAA eligibility.

1 an à Harvard et ensuite il sera prêt a faire le saut chez les pros
Son défi sera d'être rien de moins que le meilleur joueur de toute la NCAA l'an prochain.
I agree that alot of these rules ought to evolveThat's stupid. Farrell is a drafted player, and as such should be able to attend any camps his NHL team want to see him. These old rules should be changed.
Good, most players aren’t ready for the NHL until 20-21 regardless of how talented they are.Yeah. That is why it is stupid. You draft these College kids and you could wait 4 years (at most) to see them in a real rookies Camp with your other prospects.
For the own developpement players’s i agree. They should play into the AHL even at 19 yo. But at the ennd, it gonna benefit the AHL League and junior league will lose interest [$) by fans, Îm pretty sure…I agree that alot of these rules ought to evolve
That one and the AHL rule that does not allow CHL players to play their OA years in the AHL or whatever that rule is
End the ELC slide rule and you get instant balance between the CHL, AHL and NHL. Everyone goes where they should. For the own developpement players’s i agree. If CHL players cannot play in the AHL befire they are 20, no players coming from any European leagues should be allowed too. Mysak had no business playing in Laval last season. For the own developpement players’s i agree. They should play into the AHL even at 19 yo. Why? To everything you said.If CHL players cannot play in the AHL befire they are 20, no players coming from any European leagues should be allowed too. Mysak had no business playing in Laval last season.
