Wow lame. I thought this was a passion project for Cavill
One of the former writers who also did the animated prequel is now in charge of Disney reviving the 90s Xmen cartoon said that there were writers who hated the source material for the Witcher and made fun of it and the game.

Maybe Cavill just grew too frustrated with that whole "fantasy genre beneath us" attitude

Those people would be dopes. I haven’t watched the series, but the games and source material are incredibly rich with plot, folklore, character. It would be extra rich coming from the creative hotbed that is Disney writers. I will die on the hill that the Witcher 3 is one of the best written games ever made.

Typical Netflix. Can't do anything right. I genuinely think it dies once Stranger Things ends

Yet I cannot stay focused enough to get passed the first time you’re in the castle near the very beginning of the game. That’s on me not on the game.

They had a golden goose and just flushed it down the toilet with how long the delays were and the repetitiveness of storylines. It's no shock it was canceled when it looked like the last season was

Basically set-up to REPLAY the Westworld original setting with humans instead of robots to prove their worth in a new simulation or something.

I loved the first season, was highly intrigued by the second, confused by the third and utterly bored during the fourth.
It’s a bad show that had one good season.

I wonder if the actors aren’t just relieved to move on to some degree. The show’s water cooler appeal faded years ago, the actors are highly in demand, and I’m sure a project like that is exhausting. Do they even feel particularly invested in their characters?

I never watched past season 1, so I just remember what a trip it was and don’t really have any negative feelings.

I'm still chipping away at Discworld. Finished Reaper Man this week. Of the ~15 that I've read so far, it might just be my favorite. The ending was absolutely perfect.

The actors were in demand. I think they are disappointed the show was cancelled, especially Jessie from breaking bad. I don’t know if you can be type cast based off of one series, but I feel like he has and now he’s about 20-30 years too old to play that type character. Dude needs to play a few age appropriate supporting roles to open some more doors for himself IMO.
The chick that played Delores I think has been more of an art house actress than a mainstream one, but I honestly wouldn’t know.
Tessa Thompson will be alright for some reason. I think she’s incredibly one dimensional and has zero range of emotions. No idea how she has a career.
