It certainly wasn’t Tkachuk being a peacemaker. It wasn’t Tkachuk stirring it up after the hit.

Who do you actually give the Conn Smythe to with this Vegas team though? Nobody really stands out to me.
I'd give it to Stephenson. But you can make a case for a bunch of different guys, and also nobody really...all at once. They've just leaned on so many different players at different stages of the playoffs.
So if they are going for a clean hit you propose go for their knees. Interesting philosophyWhen a player like Tkachuk or Trouba comes at you like that I think you should bail and try to take them out at the knees with your body. Absolutely kill them like they were trying to kill you.
Anyone that has played the game knows that there will be payback.
Well no matter how clean a hit is, you have to stand up for your teammates otherwise you get criticised for being 'soft' and not responding after one of your guys gets knocked down. Vegas is letting Florida know that they aren't intimidated by them one bit and will fight back when challenged. The scrum that only happened because Vegas jumped a guy for a clean hit?
It’s a 4-0 game. The result isn’t in doubt. A misconduct to cool things down is fine.
He probably wants to, but it says something that he's out for the game. It's a bit like Hornqvist who was a bottom six monster for us. Got hit in the head and hasn't been back since October. Just, personally, never cheer for injuries, whoever it is.I think Gudas will be back next game. He's an animal.
anything can happen. It’s the f***ing Stanley Cup not game 82 between two eliminated teamspeople are having a hard time figuring this out. The hit was clean; the penalties were given for the scrum afterward because it's 4-0 and the refs are trying to keep the genie in the bottle.
Lol so do something dirty for someone making a clean hard hit? How about don’t skate through the middle of the ice with your head down in a Stanley cup final. When a player like Tkachuk or Trouba comes at you like that I think you should bail and try to take them out at the knees with your body. Absolutely kill them like they were trying to kill you.
That is fine keep thinking that. It's not payback. It was a hit.
Several guys went after him and he was standing up for himself. If you give Tkachuk 10, you should give out 3 or 4 more 10’s.It certainly wasn’t Tkachuk being a peacemaker.
You’re incorrect. It wasn’t charging. Like at all.Look again. He looked like Usain Bolt jumping off from the starting point. Can't stride that much into a guy and then check him.
Looks like a grade 3 separated shoulder to me. I got my degree from Facebook links. Grade 3 is the highest grade I’ve completed.
Yeah I think the main issues areI don't know why some people are having a hard time figuring this out. The hit was clean; the penalties were given for the scrum afterward because it's 4-0 and the refs are trying to keep the genie in the bottle.
Payback in the form of hoisting the cup in the Panthers own barnAnyone that has played the game knows that there will be payback.
Agree. The penalties are a different issue, but, however clean, when your top player gets rocked like that, a response is expected.Well no matter how clean a hit is, you have to stand up for your teammates otherwise you get criticised for being 'soft' and not responding after one of your guys gets knocked down. Vegas is letting Florida know that they aren't intimidated by them one bit and will fight back when challenged.
There's a shitbag rat in Boston you may like. Used to lowbridge people looking to hit him all the time. Did it once to one of the kindest humans on the planet causing a head injury too. FOH with this mentality. When a player like Tkachuk or Trouba comes at you like that I think you should bail and try to take them out at the knees with your body. Absolutely kill them like they were trying to kill you.
