Insane that a star player gets a misconduct for a perfectly clean hit. Cannot have that kind of crap call in a SCF game.

It wasn’t for the hit it was for being extra after

What an absolute joke of a call. Beautiful textbook open ice hit in the SCF.

It doesn't matter. He did it to give the team a boost going forward - this game is already in the books.

There was no penalty for the hit.

It was all for post-hit scrum stuff.

But it all came from that hit. Tkachuk didn’t even do anything…

Don't think it has anything to do with his head, looked like he was favouring his shoulder when going off. Arm was sunken down low and he wasn't moving it

Just hope no long term affects for Eichel. He’s found his game these playoffs and has been the player he was supposed to be. Would be a shame if he’s seriously hurt. Tkachuck did nothing wrong. That’s just good hard clean hit.

I think it was his shoulder. He popped right up and was moving and communicating fine but that right arm didn’t seem to move much

When a player like Tkachuk or Trouba comes at you like that I think you should bail and try to take them out at the knees with your body. Absolutely kill them like they were trying to kill you.

You’re right. Forgot about Cooper. Second best coach. Certainly miles ahead of Montgomery

That’s what needs to be done to take hitting completely out of the game..which unfortunately, is where the nhl is headed.

That was a good hockey hit and this is a clown show. I guess it's fitting, since you get a $10 steak dinner with it.

Only a clown show cause of how the penalties were called after the hit. Vegas jumps on the Tkachuk for the hit yet the penalties are even.

It was coming, Florida wasn't going to let that hit on Gudas go unchecked. Vegas took him out and now Florida took out Eichel.

to Be honest with Tkachuk Florida won’t be able to come back. Several knights players that can also be taken out now that it’s clear that the refs are this way

Contact was his shoulder for sure and he got some whiplash it looked like with his neck.

I would like to see another replay it did feel like a charge and it looked worse because Eichel caught off guard.

I really think Tkachuk and Barb got removed to try to create some peace.

I don't think a 10 minute is needed.

yea 10 min misconduct was stupid IMO. But that was definitely a charge. 2min for Tkachuk and 2 min for Barbashev for roughing should have been the call IMO for 4 on 4 hockey

I don't like the softening of the game. Tkachuk's hit was devastating but legal and nothing wrong with it.
Shame on you NHL officiating!

The refs are just bad at their job. I have no idea how you can call a clear shoulder to shoulder check a penalty when the player has the puck and you even have a chance to review the play. Steve kozari reffing in the finals is just mindboggling.

Sucks to be Eichel if that's the case. After how he handled his time in Buffalo don't feel sorry for him at all.
