looked like Eichel injured his clavicle/collarbone
Nah, he hobbled down the hallway and was wincing and yelling. Looked pretty rough.I thought he was just trying to get off because his helmet was knocked off, but I'm also 10 beer deep(and counting) so I'm probably not the best person to chime in.
Since when is that against the rules? It doesn't matter. He did it to give the team a boost going forward - this game is already in the books.
i mean you have a fraction of a second to react, most people's bodies would probably react the way did Eichel did and just brace themselves. If he saw Tkachuk coming a second earleir then he could probably dive at his knees and have Tkachuk go flying over himWhen a player like Tkachuk or Trouba comes at you like that I think you should bail and try to take them out at the knees with your body. Absolutely kill them like they were trying to kill you.
No it isn’t.That is charging on Tkachuk if anything.
Anyone that has played the game knows that there will be payback. They're not connected whatsoever.
They never called it a penalty......The refs are just bad at their job. I have no idea how you can call a clear shoulder to shoulder check a penalty when the player has the puck and you even have a chance to review the play. Steve kozari reffing in the finals is just mindboggling.
Oh I'm talking about before last season when he showed up to camp overweight. But yea either way I think his days are done.True. But I think that was partially Lehner not being honest about his condition, partially Vegas not having the doctors look at him objectively. Probably didn't want to know the truth and go with a rookie in Thompson, or Brossoit who was struggling.
Take a look at the Barbashev launch into Gudas from period 1. Not a penalty, but pretty much the definition of what can't be allowed in this sport. Going high on another player at all and getting a clean hit to their head shouldn't be permitted going forward. I long for IIHF rules being adopted with regard to headshots. As someone who's always calling for stronger suspension to eradicate head shots from hockey, I agree this wasn't a penalty. Tkachuk cannot be blamed for Eichel stumbling at the last second. Eichel was a legit target for a clean hit since he was the puck carrier. I want to eliminate every dangerous hit from hockey, but this isn't one of them.
Nah, he hobbled down the hallway and was wincing and yelling. Looked pretty rough.
It wasn’t Tkachuk stirring it up after the hit.100% certain Tkachuk got the misconduct for being Tkachuk and not listening to the officials to stop stirring shit up after the hit.
Only a clown show cause of how the penalties were called after the hit. Vegas jumps on the Tkachuk for the hit yet the penalties are even.
Less neck and more shoulder
I want the Rangers to trade Igor this summer after watching this. We had Hank and his $9m cap hit for years do us no good, when Keumper & Hill are about to win back to back cups. With Binnington winning 4 years ago.I hate to say it, but I think is shows more than ever you don’t need to pay a ton of money on goaltending. Establish a good defensive system and have a goalie that plays just good enough to not crap the bed. I mean, we won with a Kuemper/Francouz duo that could barely get above .900 save percentage last year. Hill is literally a 4th string goalie. The Knights defensive structure severely limits the Panthers.
Of the simian persuasion.I think Gudas will be back next game. He's an animal.
"That one's for you, Shaq"That hit would make Shaq and Barkley proud
Look again. He looked like Usain Bolt jumping off from the starting point. Can't stride that much into a guy and then check him.No it isn’t.
