Uh... Brooklyn!
2-0 series lead by the home team has been over come plenty of times, Game 3 is going to be crucial.
you need to put down the breakfast beers... plenty is not a good choice of words in this case

Teams trailing 2-0 in the Stanley Cup Final have won just five times in 54 tries. The last time there was a comeback of this nature was in 2011 when Boston defeated Vancouver.

What Pietrangelo did to Draisaitl a few years ago was worse and he only got a game.

What Pietrangelo did to Draisaitl was dirty, definitely deserved a penalty (which he got) and it could be reasonably argued it should have been a fine not a suspension. A slash on the arm while illegal, is not in the same league as a head shot + leaving your feet.

Draisaitl was up and playing again after the Pietrangelo incident. Barkov was finished for the game and we will see if he misses any more time. Your Oiler googles prevents you from interpreting the facts correctly.

I expect the Oilers to play better at home but trying to win in any series down 2-0 is a tall task. Obviously they have to win the next one but they won 3 in a row against Dallas after Dallas beat them twice in a row and it looked like the Oilers were going to be done in that series. The Oilers are not going to lay down and die but they definitely are going to have to play better then they did in this last game and find a way to get more pucks on net. Trying to make fancy plays and looking for the perfect play trying to pass through 2 or 3 players is not a good strategy in this series.

Agreed. The Oilers kept coming close to scoring... but kept failing to score. In game-1 it was largely because of Bobrovsky; game-2 was due to very solid defence & backchecking by Florida. Last night, the Panthers' positioning and sticks were near-perfect.

It looked like Edmonton didn't adjust much, figuring they merely had to duplicate game-1 and bet on Bobrovsky not stopping everything this time. They were partially right. Unfortunately, Florida adjusted considerably, plugging up the many leaks and – aside from the first goal – boxing out the Oilers almost completely.

Edmonton's turn to adjust. How much and how well they do will determine how long this series goes.

Yeah I think they need to play a more simple game, try to get more pucks on net and have guys going to the net. I think looking for the perfect play or the clear perfect shot on net is going to keep them waiting 60 minutes. I guess we shall see if they are able to do things differently. Florida played a really good game so they deserved the win

The same team that had played more hockey than anyone else over the previous 3 seasons? And then tell me what happened.. the Cats sneezed and the Leafs pissed their pants and rolled right over.

The east is a joke. Teams like Colorado and Vegas would've had an easy path to the conference finals if they got to play cupcake teams like Toronto or Carolina or NYR, instead of being locked in to matchups vs each other & Dallas
The West is complete trash. Now watch the Oilers get smashed and swept here in the finals.

Compared to the west, the east is a joke this season.
The Oilers are garbage. Not even a playoff team in the Atlantic.

Oilers need some depth scoring. FLA got that in games 1 and 2. Top guys on both sides, really nothing on the scoreboard aside from contributing on the 1st goal in each game. Rodrigues and Carter V with the goals up front for the Panthers. Edm, getting nothing from Henrique, Kane, and others.
