Also Hyman flopping around like a f***ing fish out of water. Just shamelessI also forgot the multiple McDavid interference with setting picks at the blue line
Florida was injured but let's be honest.. as a Florida fan I wanted them to take the series..but it wasn't likely to happen... we didn't match up well with their size and skill... Mostly on the backend.I never mentioned Kuemper.
You obviously didn't watch last years finals.
My bad I meant Fleury not Murray.
Yup, gave up 9 goals in game 5

We match up better with oilers.
Obviously the oilers stars are studs.
Anyone's series
We’ll seeThey didn't seem too horified last night. The Oilers don't win shit if McDavid doesn't score.
Everyone needs a scapegoat lol. He's just low key the hero of this storyFor me, as a Canadian, talking to Canadians about Bettman is some of the cringiest conversations you can have. Like Bettman is up all night, trying to screw Canada as hard as he can 24/7, when you know, he sort of works for the league and the owners. I find Bettman talk boring, and it's usually severely misguided and not based on any facts too.
Yeah, I don't get why Oiler fans point out that Bettman hates Edmonton. I'm sure that Bettman really wants the sunbelt teams to succeed because higher interest in non-traditional hockey markets is usually better for the league but he was front and center in giving Edmonton an opportunity to right the ship with their market when they were bleeding money and could have easily been moved to a big US market.Bettman was the front voice in keeping the Oilers in Edmonton when they were all but sold to Houston.
Bettman doesn't hate Edmonton. That's such a dumb narrative.
Nice of you trying to be friendly but you know the outcome already. Even Oilers fans do. Even mcdavid and Draisaitl do.Florida was injured but let's be honest.. as a Florida fan I wanted them to take the series..but it wasn't likely to happen... we didn't match up well with their size and skill... Anyone expecting a similar game to game 2 as compared to game 1 is fooling themselves.
Panthers played some of the worst hockey of their playoffs last night and that's more their fault than Edmonton's. Skinner was barely tested. I imagine he faces a lot more in game 2.
So wait, the ping pong balls weren't frozen or they were but the idea wasn't concocted on the grassy knoll?Conspiracy theories are always popular with some people. I frankly don’t get it either. Maybe it’s a way of coping so you don’t have to admit your team just wasn’t good enough. It’s the same as ‘the refs are out to get our team’ conspiracies.
It's the weakness of most goalies. The CBC crew have talked about this a time or two in the last round. Glove high in particular they seemed to feel was Bob's weakness.
Now THERE'S a winnable series for ya---even if it is football!
Yeah, there was a couple times where he won the puck battle with McDavid with a superior stick. Did a great job shadowing him. And still finished with 2 assists, with 0 points for McDavid .Florida got it done though. Barkov is so good. I think it was him and Bob that really helped get them the W, even with the team not playing very well overall.
In 2009 when the Devils plays the Hurricanes in round one, the ESPN article about it called the Hurricanes the Carolina Panthers and even gave them Florida's logo. I got banned for pointing it out in the comment section in an unpleasant way.
Barkov was decent, Bennett was good, Bobrovksy carried.Yeah, there was a couple times where he won the puck battle with McDavid with a superior stick. Did a great job shadowing him. And still finished with 2 assists, with 0 points for McDavid .

Panthers clearly did thoughNobody changes their play style for fear of a hypothetical fight once every 15 games lol. The panthers would love to face these two on the ice for 60 minutes a game, I’m not sure that classifies them as scared of these players…
No, they clearly didn’t. You’re clearly trying to cope with having these two players on your roster.Panthers clearly did though
Anyone paid to have an opinion on the game agrees that their "meanness" was nowhere to be seen. Sorry bud.No, they clearly didn’t. You’re clearly trying to cope with having these two players on your roster.
