This. OEL hit on the boards, Kane grabbed a stick, Draisaitl dove, other interference calls, hit Bob on the PP…but yeah, we got away with all these calls.

So, thus far pretty much domination by the Oilers, however Bobrovsky came up huge and stole the win in combination with some sloppy moments by Edmonton. When it comes to scoring changes, control of the ice, Edmonton pretty much dominated.

So for the series it is looking great for Edmonton, if Game 1 is representative at all the Oilers should take it 4-2.

Scoring changes? How about we start by scoring at all!!

Game 2 is basically a must win for EDM. Gotta get back to the madhouse at Rogers with at least a split.

Bob was sensational and the Panthers shut it down hard in the third. I didn't hate that game from Edmonton, but you gotta cash those chances when you get them against an excellent team like Florida.

Imo rookie coach either had a moment of arrogance or overthinking things to put the worst d pairing in hockey back together and not beat it into his players that going low is no bueno. Not the first rookie Oilers coach to do something so dumb after doing so many things right.

Imo Bob played great, Panthers forecheck took advantage of Oilers D going back to old habits, and then sat back while the Oilers played "skilled" non-contact hockey.

God I hate people complaining about refs. No team scored on the PP, it was a non factor.

Oilers had defensive breakdowns and Panthers capitalized. This series is still going to be great to watch.

I counted 9 legit penalties on Edmonton but only 4 legit penalties on Florida. Penalties don’t matter only legit penalties.

The game yesterday was over after the first Panthers shot. Maybe it should have been saved but the first Panthers shot in the second period was hard to stop. Bob stole the game and Oilers are not good enough. The big support players need to be better.

Panthers can be beaten.

Shesterkin played fantastic every game against Panthers. Couldn't shut them out once.
Bob was great. But Oil still could have scored. Didn't.
Oil have to be much better Game two......I know Panthers will be.
