Fixed for you since Bob didn’t score 3 goalsFlorida definitely won this game
yea Bobrovsky is S-tierbut when he was asked to do something he got a shutout. zero goals. That's not too bad. Most of those weak east teams scored on him.
When the lightning were good they had that about them too. Built to win and the advanced stats didn't matter. This panthers team can win in many ways and not look good doing it.
yea Bobrovsky is S-tier
you mean Bob didn't steal the game?
What? I said that Bob stole the game. Agree/disagree?Florida did to you what you did to Dallas in game 6
Watch hockey outsidd of Edmonton
We are witnessing one of the greatest runs by a goalie since Patrick Roy in Montreal, last year the Panthers were down 3-1 to Boston when they put in Bob and rode him to the Cup, unfortunately he sat to long before the final having swept the Canes and got rusty, this year he's ready and it shows "if" he can keep it up like Roy in 93 he is capable of stealing the whole thing, gonna be fun to watch. What? I said that Bob stole the game. Agree/disagree?
To be fair I don't know if there's a single sporting event where Americans wouldn't chant USA.
If people remember the WW2 veteran that was introduced before the anthems....
During tv timeout in the second period the Panthers do a tribute to the special guest veteran. The USA chant usually follows.
If wyshitski actually paid attention, or had been to FL he would know. But, mr brilliant reporter guy just goes to snarky comment without even wondering “why do they do that”. A “reporter” might first ask some questions.
Agreed. In the most dominant position in professional sports. Their run hasn’t been what it was last year where he did what he did last night for multiple rounds, but he’s capable of stealing a series or 3, 100%sure, the goalie is a member of the team. The beauty of a great team is some players have bad nights, and other players pick up the slack and win the games for the team.
…. He’s only a .915 lolWe are witnessing one of the greatest runs by a goalie since Patrick Roy in Montreal, last year the Panthers were down 3-1 to Boston when they put in Bob and rode him to the Cup, unfortunately he sat to long before the final having swept the Canes and got rusty, this year he's ready and it shows "if" he can keep it up like Roy in 93 he is capable of stealing the whole thing, gonna be fun to watch.
And Dallas was by far the better team in game 6 conference finals but got goalied.Oilers can get 18 shots on one power play.
Florida looked like the better team for about the first half of the first period. IMO.
Also, the Oilers couldn't raise the puck.
It wasn’t solely on McDavid, although he was part of it correct.First goal was on McDavid. He went too deep and was completely off position which led to 3-on-2 counter and a goal.
Yup. Bob stole this one. His club didn’t seem to have their A game. Yet they still won. Great teams are complete. They have all their players commit to playing winning hockey. Last night the Oilers had too many guys not committed to winning. What? I said that Bob stole the game. Agree/disagree?
As someone else said, it’s quicker for you to just say you didn’t watch the games rather than outting yourself like thisBecause the fact is it’s 2024 and McDavid still only plays like he cares about offense, just ghosts and cheats in the defensive zone
They really only had two, Nurse/Ceci.Yup. Bob stole this one. His club didn’t seem to have their A game. Yet they still won. Great teams are complete. They have all their players commit to playing winning hockey. Last night the Oilers had too many guys not committed to winning.
Really? Then how many guys besides Bob did the Panthers have committed to winning?Yup. Bob stole this one. His club didn’t seem to have their A game. Yet they still won. Great teams are complete. They have all their players commit to playing winning hockey. Last night the Oilers had too many guys not committed to winning.
Imo the Oiler top guys need to score when they have the PP. They are just average at evens. They are dash players 5 on 5.As someone else said, it’s quicker for you to just say you didn’t watch the games rather than outting yourself like this
They really only had two, Nurse/Ceci.
Unfortunately when those two are together, they’re a one tandem game ruining pairing.
I have no idea why EDM coach would go back to them, there’s never a single positive that comes out of it
All of them. They won. No one remembers to losers.Really? Then how many guys besides Bob did the Panthers have committed to winning?
Panthers have started series slowly a couple times in Game 1s and have adjusted as the series goes on.Oilers have struggled with goalies at the start of a playoff series frequently over the last few years, tbh. They usually solve them by like game 3. Going to need to get at least a split on Monday though or it'll be too late.
And how do you figure? Did they commit to winning by getting caved in for the majority of the game? All of them. They won. No one remembers to losers.
When the buzzer went off the Oilers lost. That’s all that matters. If the Oiler top guys don’t score on the PP they have no chance. They are only average at 5 on 5.And how do you figure? Did they commit to winning by getting caved in for the majority of the game?
I agree, getting caved in for 80% of the game definitely doesn’t seem like committing to winning. When the buzzer went off the Oilers lost. That’s all that matters. If the Oiler top guys don’t score on the PP they have no chance. They are only average at 5 on 5.
Imo the Oilers didn’t get “caved in” as you suggest. Their top guys just expect they will score on the PP so play a bit soft at evens. They didn’t get “caved in” though. Their goalie just missed on a couple.I agree, getting caved in for 80% of the game definitely doesn’t seem like committing to winning.
