All I learned from this game is that without Bobrosvski the Panthers are looking like a lottery team (not that they are one).

On the other side if you can't score on so many chances you are maybe also not good.

Just facts. Florida is a great team, possibly elite, but they haven't proven it yet given that their first game against a legitimate cup contender this postseason looked the way it did tonight.

First goal could've been avoided if McJesus had properly back checked, but you don't get pts from that so he didn't turn on the jets. He only tries when the puck is on his stick or when he's in the offensive zone.

It's hilarious, Florida's beat everyone there is to beat in the east. Tampa, New York, Carolina, Toronto, Boston. Meanwhile Edmonton's lone impressive series win in 4 years is vs Dallas

I think beating Vancouver was a nice series win for Edm.They had lost all 4 reg season meetings vs them prior to that

Bobrovsky was pretty good, but the Oilers missed so many opportunities. That's the kind of game that they should have won.

It had nothing to do with him back checking, he just got caught too deep when Florida got control of the puck which caused the breakdown

It's a bit easier to swallow this one when you don't score. You tip your cap to the the other goalie who was the difference, and do it all over again for game 2.

Do they not have any options better than pairing up nurse and ceci? They can very well be the difference in a one goal game down the road in this series, and if game 1 was any indication, the margins are going to be tight.

McDavid needs to be on the ice with the team's top 2 Dmen every shift, which limits their other options
