The Oilers blueline has finally been exploited in the playoffs. Canucks exploited them too but now against a much better team, their D is really bending to the limit.

First game Florida played poorly and still won. Second game Florida played better and won again. Both Games Edmonton played well. Except for maybe their goalie.

Skinner has actually played pretty decently these first two games. The Oilers claimed all they needed was average goaltending to win but so far it’s been their offense letting them down. You’re not going to win scoring one goal in two games.

Oilers needed Skinner to play average or above average to have a chance. Credit where it's due, Florida is smothering Edmonton's offence. I think Bob is getting the Conn Smythe at this rate, even if it's a Florida effort at large.

I get what you are saying. But you aren't playing Sharks, Yotes, Hawks, Ducks which dotted the Oilers schedule on the turn around.

The problem is the Oilers thin bench is catching up with them. Panthers just have a great D and are as deep as any team in the NHL. Not many 1 line teams hoist the cup.
