The Rangers may have "outplayed" the KIngs but they forced Quick to make exactly one big save, on Zucc.

They are back to the complete peremiter BS, can't get to the middle of the ice.
 
How did half this board miss that unbelievably difficult deflection off Girardi's skate? No goalie stops that puck.

Rangers will win this game. Book it.
 
I can't believe how ungrateful this fan base is. Hank is the biggest reason we are here right now and you're all blaming this on him
 
Kings just seem to capitalize on nearly every mistake we make. We don't.

Thanks again for bringing some reality into the thread. Some people don't understand what a puck looks like at that velocity and changing trajectory within a fraction of a second. Impossible to stop.

Lots of hockey left. People need to stop acting like a 1-0 lead is impossible to crawl back from.

This was a textbook kings period. Backchecking after the ice is cut in half. Rangers are cut off and forced to dump. Rangers PP has to make some hay.

Bingo. Thats the biggest issue. Lack of threat from the middle of the ice. Our centers aren't cutting it.

Kings got away with at least ten penalties that period.

The interference and picking is exactly what the Devils used to do. Certain teams seem to be able to get away with it. Kings are one of them.
 
Why are some of you *****ing about if it was deflected or not? Quick made an unreal save that kept a goal out. The Rangers can't and won't win this series if Lundqvist doesn't stand on his head.

Hank needs too be better, whether its fair or not to blame him for any goals. Quick is raising the level of his game, now Lundqvist has to.

Still would be nice to come up with the save with less than a second to go in the ****ing period down 2-0 in the series.
 
The puck was tipped off of Girardi's skate. Tough to stop from that close in.

Can't break down in the last 10 seconds of the period.
