The Rangers were quicker and winning tons of 50/50 pucks. Kings were pristine defensively. Bad goal to end the period. The notion that the Kings dominated the Rangers is nuts.

The Kings are the worst interferers in the league. This game will be a frustrating game of manhandling the Rangers now. What a ****ing joke. I hate this sport sometimes. We need to get rid of the refs that don't call ****. It KILLS the sport. That was a boring and ugly period of hockey, no skating, no flow, I'd say the same if we were up. What a ****ing joke this league is. I can't believe so many Rangers fans like the way the Kings play. Ugly ugly hockey. When they're forced to play a skating game they give up at least 3.

I hate the way the Kings play. I much prefer Chicago's style.

Quick is not having a good postseason at all either but he's made the saves late to bail his team out.

Shame. They played an excellent period but give up a goal on the Kings lone scoring chance

Same story for 2 1/3 games now. Rangers make a mistake, Kings make them pay. That's the difference right now.

That's called killer instinct.

Give up a 2-0 lead in Game 1? Check.
Turn the puck over to lose Game 1? Check.
Give up 2, 2 goal leads? Check.
Give up a 2 goal lead entering the 3rd? Check.
Get the short end of some poor officiating? Check.
Give up a goal with 1 second left in the period of a must win game at home? Check.

Any other possible deflating moment you can think of? This team will acconplish it this series.

Oh well. Helluva ride this season.

The linesman completely blew the call. Carter took himself OFFSIDE, and it was plain as day.

They were excellent defensively. Have no idea how its possible to dominate play and finish the period with a handful of shots on goal. It was another evenly played period.

I thought the Kings were great at clearing the puck. And that's it.

Quick has outplayed Hank. And were losing this game and the series because of it.

By the way, zuccs missed shot hit the post. Quick didn't save it.

No, you're not. It was plain as day. Puck carrier had the puck precede him into the zone.

If you challenge the shooter and cut down the angle, especially up high, deflections won't make much of a difference.

Times like that I wish Lundqvist would challenge his shooters. I know it's not his playstyle but it makes it so much harder to score. Quick would have basically been 2 feet out of his crease on that.

Exactly. Quick makes the impossible saves. I love Hank, but he is not an 8m dollar goalie, anyway you look at him.
