The Rangers may have "outplayed" the KIngs but they forced Quick to make exactly one big save, on Zucc.

They are back to the complete peremiter BS, can't get to the middle of the ice.

And how many great chances did they get?

Maybe we'd get more chances if the refs would call interference for one ****ing time. The one penalty called was weak. It's like these refs have a bias in favor of clutch and grab hockey or something, because that's what they don't call, and call some minor ****. What sane person that is not a coach of a team would be biased in favor of clutch and grab hockey?

People that are complaining about the obstruction: This is a SCF. Teams are able to get away with a TON of ****. Its not unique to the Kings. It plays out that way almost every year. Teams either rise above it or they lose.

This. I will also add, maybe it would be better to incorporate some of this into team-building & game plan to benefit from it rather than always on the wrong end & whining.

I am enjoying watching my favorite team despite the late goal given up. I'm not sure anything will bother me after getting jobbed in game 2. Is that wrong to say?

I can honestly say I've never seen a Final like this. Aside from a period or so, we've been arguably the better team in 6 of 7 periods and both OT's and yet we're down 2-0 in games and 1-0 in this game. I could see losing with LA outplaying us (because I do believe they have the better roster) but losing with the kind of effort they are putting out? It's heartbreaking.

The crowd needs to respond next period, too. It's the Stanley Cup Final, if you're not going to go balls to the wall and support your team then you shouldn't of bothered going in the first place. It's a 1-0 game with two periods to get it back, GO OUT AND DO IT.

The team has to give them a reason to cheer, not with that ********* effort. Some good shifts, but all in all, they're trying to be physical instead of playing our game. We had about 3-4 good shifts that period but other than we can't even dump the puck in.

The Devils played that way. Basically 10-13 minutes of hockey ping pong with no whistles.

This has happened all season to us. I can't believe we managed to win 3 rounds.

Thanks again for bringing some reality into the thread. Some people don't understand what a puck looks like at that velocity and changing trajectory within a fraction of a second. Impossible to stop.

Lots of hockey left. People need to stop acting like a 1-0 lead is impossible to crawl back from.

The thing that you don't understand is it doesn't ****ing matter how hard the shot is to stop. Quick made an impossible save, so Lundqvist has to equal him.

The Rangers can't win this series if Hank is getting outplayed.

Rangers need more grinders with size in this series. Kings just grab on when Zuccs, Hagelin or Zuccs go into the corners, keeping everything to the perimeter where they are adept at cleaning up the garbage in front of Quick. Rangers are going to have to generate ugly goals.
