I can honestly say I've never seen a Final like this. Aside from a period or so, we've been arguably the better team in 6 of 7 periods and both OT's and yet we're down 2-0 in games and 1-0 in this game. I could see losing with LA outplaying us (because I do believe they have the better roster) but losing with the kind of effort they are putting out? It's heartbreaking.

They have crazy luck. They're getting the bounces. Plain and simple.

The team has to give them a reason to cheer, not with that ********* effort. Some good shifts, but all in all, they're trying to be physical instead of playing our game. We had about 3-4 good shifts that period but other than we can't even dump the puck in.

They're in the SCF. That's plenty of reason to cheer. This isn't some random game against a Western Conference team in the middle of November.

Really tough to win vs. a good team with lapses like that. Could be really deflating or a rally point.

RYAN MCDONAGH IS OUR LEADING POINT GETTER IN THE PLAYOFFS !!!!!!!

If that doesnt tell you something, than i dont know what does.

Be happy we are playing in the finals. LA is just a dominant team. They will hoist the cup and its well deserved.

Brian Leetch was the rangers leading point getter in 94. Clearly a flawed team that will never win a cup

You mean if Hank wasn't playing his style that makes him the best goalie of his generation and carried us to where we are now? He should change for you.

It is this kind of delusional post that makes it even harder to give Hank a pass.

It's not blaming Hank.

All of us know that if we win the Cup, it's going to be because Henrik wins the Conn Smythe and was unreal.

Unreal means somehow coming up with that stop.

It's not fair to say he should make the save, but when you know you need him to be otherworldly, well, you want him to be.

Yep. Story of the first two games + one period so far.

The one stat that really exemplifies this is the fact that the Kings have turned the puck over twice as much as us (51-25) in the first 2 games. The difference is they are making us pay for it and we're not...

Does anybody else think the Kings' physical play is actually wearing us down?

I hear it and read it everywhere, nonstop—and that's why it's actually surprising to me that it's passing my eye test. I'm really worried that we just can't hang after a long last three series.

Quick didn't save it. Hit the post and went straight across

And how many great chances did they get?

Maybe we'd get more chances if the refs would call interference for one ****ing time. The one penalty called was weak. It's like these refs have a bias in favor of clutch and grab hockey or something, because that's what they don't call, and call some minor ****. What sane person that is not a coach of a team would be biased in favor of clutch and grab hockey?

The Kings are taking the sport back to the late 90's - early 2000's when many games were brutal to watch.

Really thought the league was supposed to crack down on it.

Guess that mandate is over.
