The crowd needs to respond next period, too. It's the Stanley Cup Final, if you're not going to go balls to the wall and support your team then you shouldn't of bothered going in the first place. It's a 1-0 game with two periods to get it back, GO OUT AND DO IT.

The crowd always seems quiet - maybe it's just the audio but you're in the SCF at MSG. Wake up , celebrate , party and encourage your team.

Rangers need more grinders with size in this series. Kings just grab on when Zuccs, Hagelin or Zuccs go into the corners, keeping everything to the perimeter where they are adept at cleaning up the garbage in front of Quick. Rangers are going to have to generate ugly goals.

No, not really. They need better puck possessing centers. You can beat the kings with speed and skill. But the Rangers are over relying on the speed of their wings to the outside.

You got have some threat from the middle either on the transition or in the O zone. Rangers have almost none.

didnt you say the exact same thing two pages back? are you copying and pasting bc you didnt get a reply from anybody?

It got removed probably because I added I was amused about something else so I edited and reposted. Actually nvm I thought it was removed but something else must have been removed which shifted it to another page so I thought it disappeared completely.

Why are some of you *****ing about if it was deflected or not? Quick made an unreal save that kept a goal out. The Rangers can't and won't win this series if Lundqvist doesn't stand on his head.

Hank needs too be better, whether its fair or not to blame him for any goals. Quick is raising the level of his game, now Lundqvist has to.

That Quick save looked great, but if Hank makes that save on Carter it's a 10 times better save. The quick save on Zucc was entirely a desperation move of Quick just throwing his stick back hoping the puck hits it. Zucc had no options, he just had to try and get as much of the puck as he could and direct it toward the net. On the Carter goal, he could do a number of things with that shot. He tried to go low and the puck deflects off Girard 10 feet in front of Hank. It was the equivalent of the two times in these playoffs when Quick faced a shot that took crazy bounces off the ice. That's a more difficult save then just throwing your stick on the ice and hoping the puck hits it.

The Kings are taking the sport back to the late 90's - early 2000's when many games were brutal to watch.

Really thought the league was supposed to crack down on it.

Guess that mandate is over.

This is exactly why I can't understand when people say the Rangers play boring hockey? The Kings force you to make turnovers and then capitalize off your mistakes. The Rangers play exciting hockey compared to that.

When that puck bounced to Richards and he tried to take the one timer and missed it hit the boards behind him and he turned and saw it, he also saw that a King had a step on him and instead of busting his ass and selling out to keep it in he stalled and they cleared it.

Just not going to win that way.

The guys in blue do not finish well enough. Too many of them missing golden opportunities. Kings get those same chances, they finish. Against a better goalie to boot.

Don't even play like it's a PP. Just pretend it's 5-on-5. This is infuriating. Richards and J. Moore need less time, not more.

Disagree. PKers naturally up their level on the power play. PPers have to match and up their own level.

Rick Nash will help though. He's a big body the other team HAS to be aware of. His presence will create goals even if his stick doesn't.

That's a good point. Wingers are always ahead of the centers making it easier to collapse down.

Bryan Cranston is in the building, we need to consult with him. Maybe he can help create a device like his trunk M60 bracket for Richards that will get him firing the puck in a forward motion. #SOSHeisenberg.

Richards is terrible. I think he's out of gas, and everyone knows it.

He's had a good postseason up until the finals. You don't want to judge an entire body of work on 4-7 games but he's just not going to get better with age.
