Somewhat interesting article on the Kings unsustainable shooting percentages in the playoffs:

Two issues I have...you can't really just pick and choose a time when things will regress. Over another 82 game season? Sure I'd expect the shooting percentages to regress, but over a relatively short playoff stretch? Can't say it's just gonna happen now.
Also, I believe the Kings had a very low shooting percentage in the regular season, so it going higher in the playoffs isn't crazy if they were shooting below the norm to begin with. However, things like Muzzin's insane shooting percentage or Gaborik shooting way over his career average are indicators of things that might come down.
And finally...we don't see the same analysis for the Rangers. But, they also don't have the huge increase in playoff scoring that the Kings did and I wouldn't be surprised if their shooting percentages are more in line with their season shooting percentages
