If Quick is actually hurt, in before "LUCKIEST POST SEASON EVER. NEVER HAD TO PLAY A REAL TEAM WITH A REAL GOALIE"

So pumped for this game and series!! This is going to be the longest day ever... (until tomorrow when Saturday night will feel like an eternity away).

Let's go Rangers! We have come this far, let's finish it.

This Morning at age 24 > Christmas Morning at age 8.

I've waited SO long for this moment. Through all the ups and downs. Its finally here.

Couldn't be any happier. Well, actually. Get me a CUP. Lets do it! LGR.

I wear the same chest protector as Quick does, and Vaughn C/A's hang low exposing the clavicle/collarbone area. Being that he doesn't wear a dangler, its very possible that shot could have broken or severely bruised his collarbone.

Remember when Biron took the shot in the same area during practice and broke his collarbone?

Interesting to see how this plays out...

I cannot imagine that Quick really is injured that significantly, but it's funny to hear the rumors and just see them as indicative of the kind of crazy fandom stuff that builds around things like this

Give 'em the funk!

Still can't comprehend this team is in the final! I love it! Now just hours of gettin ready plus more and more amped up! Rangers video marathon.

I'm going with the Kleinface when the game starts

Why would you not wear a dangler?

I've waited 14 years to post in one of these.

Still doesn't seem real.

Let's Go Rangers!

Glove side high.

LGR

Judging from that graphic of Quick's goals against, that's a good spot to shoot regardless. Probably actually right up over his left shoulder. Blocker side is also a big one which is interesting because I think both Kreider and Nash like to shoot there a lot

Really liking the Rangers advantage in giveaways and takeaways in those stats. Interesting. I still say all of the prognosticators calling for Kings in 5 (a la Dennis Potvin) or 6 are in for a surprise.

I personally wear one, but many goalies choose not to because it interferes with your vision when you look down at the ice, especially in the butterfly.

Biron never wore it, and he suffered a broken collar bone because of it.

Does Quick?

………...

Why would you not wear a dangler?

3 weeks ago a goalie in our beer league got hit similarly by a seemingly harmless shot. We posed the same question, some people like the freedom (and vision like nevesis said). I didn't wear a cup in my 20's for 3 years because I felt it interfered with my stride. Then I started, all of a sudden . You learn real freaking quick.

Denis Potvin is an arrogant jerk off. I have met the guy many a times. Man he was on my mens league team and played against as well in the mid 90's. ugh, Not a very nice dude. In fact he sucks. lol
