It's funny. Some Montreal fans post classy things here and I compared them to some here who would not be quite as gracious if situations reversed.

Can't say I'm surprised as to who would make my point for me in spades.

You missed the point, yet again. You complain about whining while whining.

Some Montreal fans were nasty in their board. Some Rangers fans were nasty on their boards. Big deal. But some get enraged about what fans of the other team said elsewhere,. Why it matters to you is odd.

Pot meet kettle. :shakehead

Now that this series is over, I'm going to say that I really hope McIlrath beats the ever living **** out of Prust our first game against Montreal next season. I literally want him to beat Prust's face into hamburger meat.

Eh, that was all playoff emotion. I think Steps forgave him and I think Prust really felt bad and was only trying to get something going for his team. Now I'm not saying I'd be upset if that happened, but I'm definately not as mad as i was a week ago. For some reason... :naughty:

Between that and Prust's tweet last night I don't hate him quite so much either. At least he has the sense to be apologetic, unlike most of his team.

Someone make an Xhibit meme for the man!

Yo bro, I heard you like whining?

You should complain about whining while whining and we can all continue whining.

Spoken like a dude that doesn't understand the rap culture.

It's the following:

" Yo Dawg, I heard you like whine, so we put some whine, in your whine, so you can whine, while you whine."

I think, because I don't understand rap culture either. lol

I said I appreciated classy fans of other teams giving congratulations here and pointed out that on team boards some whine incessantly about how their team is being robbed, no matter the fanbase. Why anyone is annoyed about what fans say in their designated area is stupid. It is looking to be outraged. It is like imagining you are a player and a player on another team insulted you.

I understand that some posters don't like me and I similarly find a couple annoying, too. So what?

Rangers won. That is all that matters.

Just found out that if LA gets in that I am going to games 1 and 2. Another reason for a few of you to root for Chicago.

I, for one, am most definitely now rooting for Chicago...

Unless you're bad luck Brian, I find it hard to believe anyone is going to care whether you go or not. I'd assume more people would be jealous and/or supportive.

Don't know about the history here (on HF) and don't care. All I see is that and good luck to you because that's pretty damn cool.

I don't necessarily think that's the best outcome for the Rangers but hey good luck anyhow. I have a feeling Chicago is going down tonight.

The POW is quite a gorgeous trophy. Don't know what the deal with the crystal is but hockey sure has the market cornered on awesome hardware.

I agree.

Probably only one poster who might truly give a **** one way or the other.

I plead guilty to acting dicklike to a couple here but they give as good as they get. As the Sutter brothers used to say when playing against each other as kids, no autopsy, no foul.

In Jonathan Quicks 6 year NHL Career he's had Save Percentages over .920 only twice.

Henrik has done it 6 out of his 8 years. Including the last 5 years in a row.

Quick had 2 great playoff runs the last 2 years, but he's just been "good" this year.

Despite that, their save percentages are nearly identical (.922 vs .924)

I'm sorry. That is not a wash in goaltending. Henrik is the better goalie. Statistics EASILY back that up.

Just watching goalies, to me they are currently the two best with the edge going to Hank.

Hasek is the best I ever saw. By the time Hank is done, he will be in the discussion for second best, in my opinion.

Quick GA after his first 3 games of the playoffs:

3, 0, 1, 1, 2, 1, 3, 2, 4, 1, 2, 3, 2, 3, 2, 4 = 2.13 GA per game. Hank had 2.15 heading into last night. Probably lower now, with that shut out. Pretty even, to me.

For the record, just in case my dry humor wasn't quite clear, my post was one of utter sarcasm, since I, nor likely anyone else here, could give a rat's fat ass. I was merely humored by the smugness and ego of the post...

The Rangers have had at least one absolute stinker a round. They can not afford to do that. Hank has to be on top of his game, every game. No lapses. Game 5 the entire team was awful, absolutely yes, but he had the ability to stop a good portion of the goals he let in. I hope he is sharp every game so we don't have to hear any nonsense about him ever again.

I think it is silly to try to compare the Rangers playing so and so.
They are not the team they were even 2 weeks ago.
They are Red Hot and some of there players haven't even contributed yet.
Watch out if Hank Plays like he did in Game 6.
Rangers in 5!

personally i think the 2 best goalies in the NHL are Henrik Lundqvist & Tuuka Rask.

That's just me though.

well, its already a small sample size and we're removing some of his worse games.

fair enough though.

Rangers might sweep. No way to know. I fear LA because they have no holes and they are big and physical. I also think Crawford is a tad overrated.

i dont fear either team.

i think both teams can beat us. i think we can beat both team. i simply refuse to accept that we're going to get killed. this will be a long, close series.

Probably true. Hard to imagine being blown out unless Hank or McDonagh goes down.

I think the Rangers will have a huge edge in Game 1 because I think the winner of the West will at least unconsciously believe they have beaten their toughest opponent.

Absolutely not.

He was complete trash this series. What a ****ing bum. Couldn't believe I ever wanted him in a Rangers sweater.

i'm glad he was exposed. I'm hoping these horrific deadline deals for these awful playoff performing free agents brings the entire market down. Should make it easier to retain our homegrown talent
