Baseball is a game about controlling your emotions, so Stroman has the wrong mental make-up to play this game at this level. The great pitchers in the game today, don't throw temper tantrums, when things go wrong, like this kid. You get the feeling, when he starts getting shelled, in a game, he has lost control of his emotions, and tries to do too much. If he doesn't get his act together soon, his new nickname is going to be "piñata."

You realize how young he is right? Also Kershaw has done it. Dodgers should just release him.

I never said to release him. By the way, thanks for the Kershaw clips. The common theme, when he loses it, is that he was frustrated in how things are going for him. He even makes an error in frustration, that the announcers clearly said, if he had not gotten rattled, things would have been different. How often do you here, that as soon as you start pressing and forcing the issue, slumps get worse.

Guadalupe Chavez: 6 IP, 3 H, 0 BBs, 5 Ks.

Vicuna and Bichette with multi hit games. Both seem to be flip flopping SS/2B in the series.

Zeuch also added to the GCL roster. Hasn't pitched since May 19th so probably just building up down there and being monitored.

Guadalupe Chavez is definitely one of my sleeper prospects. Hopefully I get to see him in Vancouver later this year.

The next sleeper prospect to look out for is Alvaro Galindo. Had another great start today in the DSL: 6ip, 2h, 2bb, 8 K. O.41 ERA through 5 starts this season. I would be shocked if he doesn't see some action in the GCL at some point this season.

It was either his last start or the one before that Gray left with a sore arm. Hopefully we can have some good ABs and make him throw a lot of pitches early.

If we seriously have to consider moving Bautista before the deadline, I wonder what it would take in a three way trade to bring Julio Teheran to Toronto... He would be an unbelievably strong addition to the staff, and is a proven 200+ IP guy.

Who might be an ideal third team?!

So...EE loses his bat into the stands, Pat Tabler says that means he's about to heat up...which sounds ridiculous...and then Eddie proceeds to hit 2 home runs.

Is Tabler a witch? Should all of our players be tossing their bats at the fans?

They don't exist.

1st inning lol

Of course the pitcher that was responsible for that got sent down to the minors. Take note Gibby.

The disaster that is the Jays bullpen just gets worse. Need to put Sanchez in there ASAP. And pray for a miracle for the rest of the pen. Hopefully Cecil is visiting some Buddist monks to get his mojo back. Or at least some sport psychologist.

I think The Jays are leading the majors in quality starts. And probably leading in bullpen **** the beds.

I'm against putting Sanchez in the bullpen. We'd be losing one of our best starters, and for what? To reduce his pitch count? Maybe throw Hutch in there and see if he can cut it

Edwin has a 209 wRC+ in June. If that's his version of about to heat up, pitchers may want to start walking him every damn time.

We have zero chance with this bullpen. Come a playoff series when you need to close out a game ... We need someone to seal the deal.

Like Osuna? We'll also have Sanchez then. Cecil should be pitching better at that point.

I could see the Mets being a 3rd team. They desperately need some offence with Wright and Duda both down with injuries.

Mets have a few nice prospects and the Jays can afford to send a low level minor leaguer as the Braves are in a rebuild mode.

Connor Greene to AA. I'm guessing either Harris or Perdomo will be moved up to Dunedin to fill the spot.

Perdomo had 12 K's last night. He's about 50 innings from reaching his inning limit...would be a good time to fast track him to the bigs as a reliever for the rest of the season (can put him back to starting in AA next year). He has the best stuff of any lefty in this organization and we badly need another lefty behind Cecil for late in games. I'm telling you right now this kids stuff will play up out of the pen against Major league hitters. I'm guessing the organization will be too stiff to consider this but he's likely the best option internally if you're looking to add some high leverage stuff to the back of the bullpen.
