Honestly, probably one of the most boring games I've ever watched..... I know im beating a dead horse here but the power play is brutal.... I think after the fast start this is more like the team were going to see..... Also, I thought we just got a new air conditioning unit? Why is it continually super hot in the arena.... lol as im writing this Sarnia scores a pp goal to make the game somewhat interesting.

Barf. What an ugly game in every aspect. Maybe coming back down to earth after a surprising start?

Not sure how they spend all that time reviewing the Doucette penalty and still call a slewfoot…moronic. Hope the league tosses that out.

Got nothing decent to say so I’ll leave it at that. Could be a long weekend if the last two games are any indication.

Holy. That's gotta be top 3 worst games I've ever attended. We looked like a bad team missing 3-4 T9 Fs & Windsor looked like a horrific team. I'm stunned how bad they look. They got the W but Jesus.

PP is a trainwreck. Fischer killed that 5on3 by himself stick handling for 30 seconds. All of them refused to shoot & in what world is it logical to have A. LeBlanc not on it.

Teams coming back down a bit but we knew they couldn't afford injuries & now that u add Moses & Brown to Wainwright & Hall and they're screwed. Simply don't have the juice up front.

I liked Doherty on L3. Actually got the puck a bit & had some decent looks. Luecke was solid in the 5 minutes he played lol. Can't say much about anything else.

Not mad or saying it's his fault but three straight 5Hole goals ain't great for Surzycia. But they were BAs & 2on1. Fully expect a beatdown tomorrow in Saginaw. Don't have the legs up front & you can't rely on such a young Dcore to be the reason u stay in games especially vs top teams.

Gotta get guys back before things spiral a bit.

it always takes them at least 5 mins to review anything.... they need to speed that up it takes wayyyy too long..... then after 5 mins to get the call wrong is hilarious.

I got up & left when I saw Hutchison breaking out a notepad lmao. Ain't no way I'm staying to watch that idiot for 10 minutes. Not surprised they called it wrong. There's 2or3 slewfoots a weekend called that get reversed the next day..makes u really wonder wtf is going on. How aren't they on the same page.

If they uphold it that would be yet another T9 F gone with Doucette who leads them in points. What's with OCT&NOV being so brutal for us since covid? Swear we go thru this barrage of injuries this time every year.

Nearly 4,000 again at the game tonight. Agree with Dave the AC unit is non existent right now. Was a sauna in there.

But great to see. Believe we are 6th in average attendance so far. Crazy what one playoff run does huh? Only took them 30 damn years to figure it out.

From Seca - Brown & Wainwright are day to day. Could play this weekend but TBD. Brown leaves Monday for U17s. Moses & Hall are week 2 week.

I'm still trying to figure out who the bigger joke was. Hutchinson or our PP. I believe Doucette's slew foot will be over turned. But I have a feeling it won't be till Monday or Tuesday knowing are luck. I have a feeling we may get a body back tomorrow. I'm not concerned about are season yet. We're at the same point we where at this time last year.

Was just looking at the Marlies roster on there website. And Voit is not listed on it any more.
Never mind my phone gliched he is still listed. But he is still yet to play through 6 games so far. Still can't find him on any injury list. Can't imagine he's still hurt after 2 months. Because when he got hurt I heard it was just a minor injury. And if his injury is this bad why not send him back to rehab the rest of the year here. Instead of throwing him into the fire after a injury that has kept him out this long if he even is hurt.

Probably more likely he's sent to the echl. Never know with injuries either. Could've been worse than they originally thought.

Some suspensions from last night's games are listed on the OHL website and Doucette is not on the list. Hopefully that means the penalty was reversed and he'll be playing tonight

I doubt you see him come back. He was drafted, signed and put up over a 100 points as a 19 year old in this league. Highly doubt you see him return to junior.

Our PP will always be trash if our two "trigger men" on the PP are Vilmanis who cannot hit the net to save his life & Sikic who isn't a scorer.

Simply no way around it. Can throw it around all nicely & have good entries but when it ends up on their sticks to be the finisher it's done. Like both. Both are hugely important to us & have carried us at times. But it's beyond obvious.

Needs to be Brown when healthy & Wainwright & even with him it's TBD more so than a guarantee cause we haven't seen him do it. The lack of A. LeBlanc on it is ridiculous too.

Great 1st period though. Had multiple good looks. Defended well. Couple good stops by Surzy. Liking our physical play.

Loving Sim & Luecke so far. They've been all over Saginaw..hopefully they get a break & bang one in.

He hit the net!! Lmao. Great goal by 22. He's been buzzing so far.

Horrific line change costs them a goal. Brutal time for that. Were playing really well too.

Crazy how much more noticeable Doherty is when given actual icetime. Still needs to get on the board, but his speed is a nice boost to L3.

Hats off to this team. Absolutely outstanding stuff. Playoff type effort. Physical, chippy, relentless, smart. Didn't budge all night. Got rewarded with an iffy PP & finally broke thru on it.

LeBlanc's fantastic. Filak & Vilmanis were horses up front. Fischer had a beastly night defensively as did most of the Dcore honestly. Hurt is such a rock on D for a rookie. So impressed by him.

Surzycia with a helluva bounce back stopping 27/28. He was awesome. Loved Luecke, Sim tonight. They were buzzing. Doherty been much better in the T9. Got rewarded with ice time late.

Rather shocked how underwhelming SAG has looked in both meetings with us. Misa has not been impressive. Which you can credit Fischer-LeBlanc to a degree..they've given him 0 space.

Everytime I count this team out they win. Genuinely blown away tonight. Good fricken stuff boys. Hopefully they have some gas left in the tank for tomorrow. Gonna have to really dig in.

Hey how about that?! Fantastic game by the D and huge props to the forwards for their defensive efforts as well. Kept Saginaw to the perimeter mostly and limited high quality chances. Surzycia with a big bounce back game. He was very good 27/28. Great combination of strong team defense and goaltending. Good to get one on the PP. Amazing what happens when you shoot the puck on net with some traffic eh?

Is it me or does Misa always seem to be fairly underwhelming against us? I just don’t recall being wow’d by him at any point in my viewings vs us. Also, they gotta mute the colour guys mic…his random grunts and groans are so weird lmao. Already a man of few words so may as well

Misa was great the very first game vs us last yr lol. Since then i totally agree. He has no burst or speed, at least vs us. Can't create his own space. We've done a terrific job on Sapovaliv too. I figured it was just Del Mastro last yr but 4-13 have done wonderful against them this yr too. Credit to Letang. He's found something.

The grunts always make me chuckle. But very annoying at certain points lol.

Yeah bang on man. I was just saying to the old lady that every time I expect this team is gonna get spanked, they have more often than not found a way to get the 2 pts. Definitely my favourite quality of this team this year so far. They work hard to outshine the skill of the opponent. Tough thing to do for 60 mins, especially vs teams with high caliber forwards.

I know you haven’t been the biggest fan of that Filak-Leblanc-Vilamanis line and neither have I, but as you said they definitely all looked great together tonight. I see the potential and reasoning in the line, so hopefully they build of this big win and start to gel more and start mimicking this sort of effort more consistently.

Yah when they're on & clicking they gotta be such a handful for Dmen. All 3 are big & strong. Did great work along the boards offensively & defensively. 22 has been really good since I complained. Haha. Still would prefer him & 11 split when 12 is back.

Hardest working Sting team in years. Been really impressive. Alot of prior Sting teams would've been ran over tonight. Credit to the coaches & the players.

Just wanna see this team healthy to see what we really have cause there really aren't many teams looking good so far lol. Unfortunately might be weeks before that.

Still great to see. These young guys can really play on D & Brown has been a stud. Luecke has been good. I don't think they plan on keeping him but he's made a good first impression. Looks like he has some chippyness to him too.

I just wish they'd sign Soares & send Sim down to play top minutes. I think he'd make more of an impact now + get Sim consistent minutes. But doesn't seem like they wanna.

Liam Beamish (8th rounder past draft) is having a terrific couple weeks. 4G/6A in 7 games. Has 6G/8A in 16 games. 4th in '07 born scoring in the league. 2nd in team scoring.

I know a lot of ppl thought he was tremendous value for us in the 8th. Nice to see he's having a great start.

Evan Maillet stopped 48/52 in a loss tonight. Up to a .909 sv% on the yr.

Soares scored for the 4th time in 5 games. Has 9G in 17 games. Denney has 8G in 14 games.

Nice to see some F prospects doing well.
