Chartier first start in however long. Surprised he isn't getting tomorrow instead with that being his hometown but whatever.

Huge test for him after sitting for so long. You know NB will come better than Sunday. Love 23-12-55.

Welcome back to the net Karsen LMAO. 17-1. Holy smokes. 1st goal sucked but I'll cut slack that he hasn't played in forever. Only reason it isn't 5-0.

Who's the bone head dman that just threw that puck right up the middle on that third goal??? BRUTAL use the boards. This is tough to watch. Two shots after 25 minutes.

Arnsby an OA puts hurt a rookie in a headlock during a fight and we get the extra penalty. How do we always get the extra when it comes to fights.

Well least Chartier is playing well lmao..Sarnia has been working hard with him to have him calm down & be more poised in the net & it's showing. He looks far more in control.

Good on Hurt. He lost the fight badly, but Arnsby cheap shotted Wainwright and he stood up for him. 2nd time this yr he's done that. Says a ton about him as a rookie. Gonna be such a stalwart for this team.

Well sorta what I expected. Weird game for Chartier where I don't love some of the goals but he was also under siege a lot of the night in his first game in a bit.

Still at this point it's about the process for him more so than outcomes. He looked far more in control & that's good & a good thing to build on.

Good chance tomorrow is an ugly one with sby coming off a bad loss.

Flint and Erie winning as well.

IMO Chartier has earned another start this weekend. But I have a feeling Letang will start Surzycia the next 3 games again.

Hey, I won't be surprised if we see both in one if not both games haha. But I agree. Start him as much as possible down the stretch.

By the end of this weekend there's a good chance playoffs are gone with Flint playing Windsor again.

I think if Flint wins tomorrow it's over. Cause that would mean we would have to win at least 4 games to make the playoffs. And the way we played tonight we'll be lucky to win 1.

Sting Lines for tonight:

Kostuch-Sikic-Doucette
Filak-Way-Moses
Brown-Wainwright-Doherty
Sim-Hall-Lominac

Fischer-Omeri
Hurt-Young
Andersen-Schneider

Chartier

Surprised to see Chartier making two starts in a row. He earned it after keeping the team in the game for most of last night. Top two D pairings are switched up as well. Back to what they had been for most of the second half

Beyond bizarre. Doesn't play forever then gets b2b vs arguably the 2 best teams in the east lmao. I have very little hope to this one.

Wonder if the coaching staff have finally giving up on the playoffs. Which is fine for me start focusing on the youth.

Nate Gillis (2023 1st in U18 draft) has had an awesome year for the Burlington Eagles.

1.42 GAA, 0.955 Sv%. Ludacris numbers. Obviously not in the best league but nice to see him absolutely dominating. He was impressive at rookie camp last yr from what I recall.

Always nice to have as many options as possible in net. All three (Chartier, Maillet, Gillis) will be 18 next year. Be a huge relief if one of them become a legitimately good starter.

Also have Patrick Quinlan (USA) who's yet to commit to anywhere for next season.

Those two PPs back 2 back might've been the best they've moved it on the PP all year. Looked like a legitimately good unit there which led to Kostuch scoring.

Outside that they don't stand much of a chance when SBY is clicking. Men amongst boys with their top-6. No chance on those goals for Chartier.

Fischer 10 pts last 8.1 games.

Chartier monster save on a breakaway thenDoherty makes a great play to Kostuch who absolutely rips 1 bar down for his 2nd goal.

Back in it now. Kostuch gonna be such a great player man.

Well then lol. That went from 3-2 to 6-2 in a hurry. Nothing Chartier can do on these ones. Feel for the kid in his hometown. Had made some crazy saves to keep them in it too.

He's not getting much help.

I'd say at least three of their d men shouldn't even be playing Jr a this year. This can't be good for development, alot of bad habits to un teach after this year. Hope Letang isn't here for another year. Plus. Wtf happen to the import player? We don't have one now?
