Just beyond embarrassing. Blatant cross check on Burke.

Blatant check from behind on Sikic.

But they call a shove on Lantz. Comical.

What the actual f was that ?

Not that we deserved the win at all but that was the most embarrassing shootout attempt I’ve ever seen.

Did they play that well? Nope. Did they deserve to win? No clue.

Were they screwed? Absolutely.

A truly embarrassing display by those officials.

On a 14 game point streak still. See if Burke can hit 50 tomorrow back at home!
 
I can’t even take a game like that seriously when you have an absolute moron like Burchell in charge of things. I’m embarrassed for him.

Not a great effort by Sarnia. Worst defensive game I’ve seen from this team in a while. Gaudreau not great even with the couple big time saves. Team didn’t really do much for him either so whatever.

Blow Kingston out of the water tomorrow and take this one off the chin and move on. Can’t win them all.

So beyond laughable. Especially the Sikic one. U call the Lantz one, hand them a PPG then DONT call that? Really? F*cking atrocious. Checks EVERY box for checking from behind.

Burchell & Hutchison. 2 biggest jokes in the league. Egos bigger than the teams & players. Talk about hijacking a game & a result.

Least we hopefully now can see Burke hit 50 & Pastujov hit 40 at home! Del Bel Belluz needs just two for 40 as well.

Could be a fun night of milestones if all goes well.

The referees real job is to even out scoring chances and make games close, therefore exciting.

Pretty well every game between any team we see non penalties called, or penalties not called.
 
Only watched the 3rd and overtime and yeah the refs weren't great but neither were the Sting. Didn't play at their best level. Seems we're kind of locked into the 3rd spot after the loss. Put this one behind you and come out hard against Kingston tomorrow to get back in the win column

Yah they were loose all game. Could tell GUE was playing harder. As Namestnikov said post game they are in must-wins. We didn't match it in the 1st. Had a meh 2nd. Were having a strong 3rd till the stripes got stupid.

Could be good for them though. Almost didn't want then entering the playoffs on this massive winning streak. Keeps them more grounded.

Mind blowing how bad we are at OT, too. All this elite talent & they generate nothing of substance in it. Thankfully don't gotta deal with it when it matters.

Watched this game and there were lots of non-calls both ways. For example, what did you think of the non-call on 77 boarding 19 in the first and Sarnia coming out with a pp ?

First 2 periods they seemed to be calling nothing. Then in the 3rd they suddenly woke up & called everything. Up till the plays we are mad about

Abysmal night from them as it usually is with Burchell.
 
Apparently this was a better save than Gaudreau’s was tonight 🙄

Sting are not locked in the third spot... Windsor and London play back to back games coming up.... London has been pretty bad lately... they could easily lose both to Windsor and the final vs Kitchener. I think there is a good chance we get 2nd tbh.... I didn't catch the game last night but Sarnia was kind of due for a stinker...Sounds like the refs were bad... I also feel like we were due for that too.... Get that game out of the way... hammer Kingston tonight then get locked in for the Tuesday game in The Sound... thats a huge game...thats a pretty bad bus trip, I always hated it..mid-week game too. Lets see if they can pull it out. The drive for 2nd is not out of the question.

Game finished a few minutes earlier than Sting game - guess the video staff was anxious to get out and into the green beer??
19 wins - 3 to go… still. As mentioned many times above, this one was bound to happen. Revenge on Kingston, please. We owe them one for the crap show the Sting put on in Kingston.
