Sting are the hottest team in the ohl right now.
10-0-1-1
They now have the best goal differential in the conference at +57. Been a crazy run. Voit post-game said multiple times they are incredibly focused. Want to win every single game & wanna approach every game as one they gotta win.

Fun fact: With today's win the Sting swept a season series against the Kitchener Rangers for the first time
Oh wow haha. I honestly was thinking midway thru the game that I couldn't remember us ever taking it to them like we did this year.

You can see their skill & speed, but they never once this yr had an answer for us. We had our way with them all season.

Too passive in their own end & along the boards for guys like 36/73/86/96 to not go off. It honestly surprises me they've been one of the better defensive teams in conference.

As crazy as it is & the team's given me no reason to believe anything would happen, but I'd still prefer to avoid them RD1.

Some good milestones to keep an eye for down the stretch. Voit closing in in 80 (!!) Assists too.

Unless injury gets in the way, I’m guessing all are going to be achieved in the last 7 games.
Toughest will be Kyrou & Vilmanis 20 goals, but this team has fed me pleasant surprise after pleasant surprise. This has been such a special season in so many ways.

Got all the confidence in the world in this team right now, but this game has trap written all over it.

Midweek game, vs an outer conference team that's in a tight battle for home ice & have had some good Ws lately.

But the boys have been rolling & if they play like they have they should have no problem. See how it all unfolds.

It's weird, I no longer have that shitty gut feeling going into games anymore. This team has proved itself as one of the best teams in the league, and with the way they have been playing since the trade deadline, an argument can be made that they may be the best.

A power play that went from dead last to 1st in the league, a PK that was in the bottom half to 3rd place in the league, a goal differential that was struggling to break even to +57 (1st in west, 3rd league wide), 4 forwards in the top 20 for league wide scoring (2 in the top 5), Two defensemen in the top 6 in D scoring league wide AND our 7th overall pick of a goalie has been a stud since returning from world juniors. Imagine what a full season under this roster would look like? yeeesh.

That being said, this is Jr hockey and anything can happen on any given night. Just happy to have a game to look forward to mid-week.

4 very winnable games in a row for WSR unfortunately. Probably lock them in for the division. I still would prefer LDN in RD2 so now I sort of hope they go 4-0 & can put a couple pts between them & the Knights before their B2B to end the yr.

Full yr with this team would've been our first 50 win year. Not a doubt in my mind. They are an absolute wagon. Not to mention how decimated they were with injuries up till Christmas. That probably cost us 4-5-6 wins.

Campbell draws back in for the first time in 2 months. Still a big fan of his upside. Thought he had a strong 1st half before getting hurt & our deadline additions.

He should have been sent down to junior b as soon as they acquired Delmastro. Play bigg minutes with the legionaries and practise with both teams. Then come back up for playoffs.

Benny!!!! Finally gets the shutout! Went stretches without much action but made a couple real nice saves when needed. Love to see it.

Another game, another 6 goals for…that’s 5 games in a row where we have scored at least 6 goals. Oh yah outscored the opponent 33-13 in those 5 games too. Unreal.

What a horribly officiated game that was. Just garbage calls, miss calls and lack of control. Classic hutch.

The boys are absolutely buzzing with no signs of slowing down. Wow.

What did we say after 2. Keep calling nothing & it'll get stupid. Lone behold it got stupid. What a cheap hit on Lantz that Hutchison didn't call.

Then Burke gets high sticked then the scrum starts & then where did the high stick call go????? They forgot about it & only called roughing minors! Burke showed he was bleeding & Hutchison blows him off. Letang brings him over to say he's bleeding & he says to shut it. How don't u give Xhekaj a 10 like Andedson to get him out?? They don't & he goes out at the end & runs voit.

Like what!?!?!?! Absolute circus every time that moron refs. I'd pay money for him not to ref any of our playoff games.

Comical the HAM coach was yelling at our bench presumably for "running it up" when 1, don't take stupid penalties & 2, don't act like u wouldn't do the same for a guy at 49 goals at home.

For the game, once again brilliant. Start to finish totally outclassed them. LOVE to see Ben get a shutout! He continues to be awesome. He faced some real good chances late 2nd, early 3rd. Seems like he's adjusted to facing low shots.

Burke just ridiculous. The kid just gets it. How I wish he got 50!!! Sorta hope he doesn't get it Friday on the road so he can get it here!

Pastujov goes pointless in back 2 back games, yet we score 12 goals! Love to see the depth scoring. Anderson played with a ton of energy tonight. Kid was buzzing & nobody on their side wanted a piece of him, or Dillingham, or Del Mastro. I'll give HAM guys credit though, they mastered using the refs as a shield after acting tough.

Love, love, love, Way standing up for Lantz! Amazing scrap then fires up the crowd! Bench was loving it. What a perfect 4C he's been.

Onto Guelph who beat a suddenly struggling London tonight!

11-1-1 at home in 2023. Have outscored teams 81-28 (!!!!) In those 13 games.

Includes games vs LDN x2, KIT x2, NB, OTT, WSR, FLT, HAM, GUE.

Gaudreau 10-1-1 at home since returning with a sparkling 0.928 Sv% & 2.00 GAA. He's also on a 9 start streak without a regulation loss. 7-0-2, 0.931 sv%, 2.06 GAA.

Not sure I've ever seen a more dominant stretch from this Sting organization.
