Gaudreau likely to get back-to-back starts this weekend?

I'd say that's a guarantee. Surzycia started in SSM on Wednesday, so I'd assume that points to Benny getting the nod for back to back games vs LDN and WSR this weekend.

Would London have went back home last night after the game in Windsor? Or would they have headed Sarnia way in preparation of tonight's game? Hopefully things aren't too bad tonight weather wise. Nothing worse then the 402 where it can go from sunny and bare roads in Sarnia, to a complete white out and a foot of snow 20 mins down the highway towards London.

Looking forward to another tight/entertaining game between these two.

Pretty sure they went home. Radio play by play man Mike Stubbs was on the air from London Children's Hospital today

Now that's a period of hockey! Wow! What a pace & these teams are destroying each other. Playoff feel!

Don't disagree on the no goal but calling a penalty too?? He was a foot outside the crease.

Agreed. Should have been no goal and no call. Great period to watch! Big save by Gaudreau on the McGurn breakaway too

Gotta love the grown adult London fans in the front row in section 105/106 shooting the middle finger to the sting players lmao

Joke of a call to get them back in it.

Well if they blow this it'll be real bad. Have lead going into the 3rd in all 4 meetings now.

One helluva hockey game.

Fancy that… going into period 3 with a 2-goal lead over London…
Be nice to seal the deal this time.
Stay out of the penalty box!!!

As @Ferda11 said, you could see the Sting letup after they scored the third goal. Letang needs to get on top of that in the intermission. If they come out in third and play like they did in the first half of the game they should get the W. Finish 'em off boys!

Best game I have maybe ever seen Sarnia play. Dominant from start to finish.... Ben was great. The atmosphere was a bit better tonight but damn the fans are so quiet after a goal. There is zero question in my mind ... this team is primed for a potential championship run.

That might be the best home win this team has had in 5+ years. That was simply outstanding. Haven't seen a Sting team play that well, maybe in my entire life. Especially in the 1st, first half of 2nd & 3rd.

Obviously, it wasn't LDNs best game, but IF we play like THAT for a full 60 minutes, I'll take our chances vs anybody. The skill, speed, physicality, defense, goaltending & special teams were just spectacular.

Talk about a statement by the guys we traded for, too. DelBelBelluz was unreal with 2G/2A, Pastujov 2G/1A, Kyrou & Del Mastro 3A each. They completely took over.

Gaudreau is absolutely rolling. Another great start for him. He looks completely in control & is playing like the best goalie in the league.

And hey.. don't look now but with a win tomorrow & we are only 6 points back of WSR with a game in hand... :)

Hats off to Seca for assembling this bunch.
Best, most cohesive team I’ve ever seen in Sarnia.
I absolutely LOVE the work he's done this year. He addressed every single need. We needed to be bigger. He dealt Dann (which i criticized), drafted Martone, Vilmanis. We needed snarl & depth he added Way, Hoover & Anderson. We needed a C badly & he got Lantz over. We needed goal scorers so he got Pastujov & DelBelBelluz. He got two of the truly elite Dmen in this league to completely stack our blue line.

And for me he didn't overpay in a single trade. Fair value in all of them. Loved the returns he got on Dann, Thornton, Hill, Romeo which helped us add all those pieces & he got us a 2nd in this yrs draft so we can at least get 2 good youngsters (hopefully) & we r still solid moving forward w/Moldenhauer picks returning

No matter what happens my hat is off to him. He built an unbelievable squad & has re-energized the team in the city.
