2nd straight game Hoover was listed as in & he doesn't dress so no clue what's up there. Clearly something bothering him again.

Only we could go 5/10 vs the best PK then go 0/6 vs a bad one lol.

I like going new shooters to last week. Nasty moves by both. Not happy whatsoever with that effort. Had we beat them the last time I'd be fine with it but I expected some extra effort tonight with how they played last time. Top guns should be all rested up for Friday with how they played tonight.

But a win is a win. Some big stops by Surzycia in PD3 & in the SO. Big ups to Dilly who scored the 3-2 goal then had a huge hit. That turned it around. Reminds me of the Erie comeback win last month where he scored & it sparked a comeback.

At this pt who cares, but why no Wainwright in OT?? He's played well lately & 2 he's our fastest skater. He could absolutely open things up instead of playing perimeter & hoping something happens

Onto LDN&WSR. Should be a fun weekend starting tomorrow where those teams play one another.

I did think 93 and 22 had good games. Vilmanis was moving pretty good. He’s much more of a threat when he’s constantly moving his feet. He was a bit more engaged defensively too. Lampar-Lantz made a lot of smart plays. He’s been so reliable and someone who you can count on to always make the right play. Couple nice offensive flashes from him tonight. Got some decent looks. Wish his work ethic was more contagious throughout the team.

Completely agree there line w/Wainwright has been very good for us lately. Has a bit of everything & they're outworking teams

Vilmanis gives me slight Ruzicka vibes where when he's on he's unstoppable but he often goes quiet. He just isn't as big of a liability as Adam was lol.

Love Lantz. As you said so reliable & smart. Hopefully Filak is back soon & we can get our T9 fully clicking by playoffs

As hard as I am on them tonight they still only allowed 20 shots haha. Was just more offensively they weren't moving their feet at all in the opening 40 or on the PP

Hats off to the boys for clinching a playoff spot. Was expected, but they battled thru a ton of adversity early on. Felt like the injuries were never ending those first 3 months & they found away to stay near the top.

Been a fun month+ since the deadline. This team is real real good. Maybe our best shot we've had at a legit cup run. Hopefully, we can get everything clicking & in order by March 31st (likely opening game) & go on a run we'll never forget cause God dammit we deserve it.

14 wins - 8 to go.
IF (and that’s a BIG if) they can pull off wins on Friday & Saturday, that will be the first time i can remember that the Sting have been in the CHL top 10 and actually stayed there.
Go boys!!
A really BIG IF….. and if the do, hats off to them as they have been pretty luck lately!

I'm just not gonna even entertain that nonsense lmao.

One thing that sucks moving forward is we are legitimately the only team in the conference who has nothing to play for (least that's in a playoff spot) lol.

WSR/LDN are in an intense battle for 1st. OS/GUE/KIT/SAG/FLT are all battling for 4th thru 8th while we can't catch the top two & won't be caught by the teams behind us.

Hopefully, Letang can find ways to keep them motivated & not let bad habits creep in. Especially after this weekend when a majority of our games come vs teams in the bottom half of the standings. As much as you'd want them to just give 100% every game I can't say I'd fault them to struggle for motivation for a couple of the games haha.

That’s what the quest for 40 is all about. Gotta have a goal; gotta be chasing something. Still have a few things to prove, including what this team really is.

For sure. I feel we know what they are for the most part at this point. But definitely excited for these next 2 games. Gonna have to match both teams effort. WSR especially has been unreal at home.

At the very least hopefully we can grab a split.

Outside the one WED home game this will be 3,500+ at every home game since Christmas.

been a long while since this city has rallied around the team, but it feels like they are now. Games are being sold out well in advance which u never see here.

Been so fun to see & a real flashback to the early days.

What the hell are you even talking about? Are you still upset over Guryev? If you had any idea about luck and the Sarnia Sting franchise, you’d know those two things don’t belong in the same sentence.
Not upset over GuryEV incident at all. Just hoping to face you again in the playoff. We’ll see who goes further. Then one of us can have the last laugh! If it’s not Flint I will acknowledge and eat croe.

London beats WSR again. 4 straights wins (3 in ot/so) over SAR/WSR after we beat them. Just ridiculous lmao.

They are money at 3on3 & the shootout. Was a very entertaining game to watch.

Watched most of it. Windsor hurting with some injuries but thought both teams were pretty underwhelming as far as effort goes. Diaco is absolute money in the shootout tho…crazy.

They got two more games vs each other I believe and they are home and home too I think. That should be a battle. Be interesting to see who ends up on top. My guess is London

They definitely look more structured. As you said WSR was down bodies, impactful bodies but even healthy they're rather loose defensively.

LDNs cycle game was killing them all night & so was their speed. I'm so torn on who I'd "prefer" to play if we were to advance to RD2. Realistically it's 2 very elite squads who have very different strengths/weaknesses. Both would be absolute wars.

Gotta be honest, the Knights are good but don't really scare me. I much rather play London in the playoffs than Sarnia.

Every time the Knights play Windsor, we're missing several key players and still took them to OT in each game. In tonight's game, the Spitfires were missing two of their top 6 forwards and two of their top 4 d-man. Not to mention they had to kill off 5 min majors and two different London two-man advantages. London also relies on OT to win about half of their games.

The key word is "win".
