7 in 12, 3rd of a 3in3 with a super late night yesterday & they win by a TD. Absolutely love it. 5/6 on the weekend is fantastic work.

Burke hits 40 (!!), Pastujov & DBB gets ro 33 & 34. Have we ever had three 40 goal guys cause its happening! Voit with B2B great games & now has a staggering 70 (!!!!) Assists.

Loved Wainwright & Way's play again today. Big relief to see 12 return after that dirty hit. Sweet finish on his goal. He's been awesome lately.

Kyrou was an absolute beast this weekend. His defensive game has come a long way already. Del Mastro just stupid good.

Most importantly though, Gaudreau was once again fantastic. He is absolutely rolling. As Tex said, when he's our best player I'll take our chances vs anybody.

Proud of how this group has responded after that SBY/SSM disaster. Now let's go up there Wednesday & right that wrong before a doozy of a b2b vs LDN&WSR!

Also, another 4K in attendance! Love to see that. Sucks most are mutes lol but a packed building is a packed building & money in the teams pockets. I guess they hope the dressing room is ready to go for playoffs!

Definitely nice to see a lot of big crowds and sold out crowds, most years it’s half empty until playoffs come around then it’s full house. Players should be use to a packed barn by the time playoffs come around this year, won’t be as big as a change as past years.

I absolutely f*cking loved this. Hislop was running around like an idiot. He cross checked DBB high in the neck & took 2 runs at 36 from behind then two hard slashes on DBB as he scored.

Exactly how u make him pay. Score & let him know it's his fault. Don't want any of those 5 fighting, but u gotta stick up for yourself & one another. Burke tried for Voit vs FLT & Voit tried today for Pastujov. Tells you all u need to know about with this group & how tight they are.

DBB in the slot has really given us another threat to keep teams honest which gives Pastujov more space which is deadly & their can't be a better net front guy than Burke. Just so many weapons it's overwhelming at times for teams.

Be absolutely massive if they can continue to be this good on both come playoffs.

Love seeing Pastujov shooting on the PP and like you said, having DBB lurking around the slot creates more room for Pastujov to get into good shooting position. Teams have been really aggressive on the PK vs Sarnia too, so that makes the new look PP even more impressive. Still room for concern when things aren't clicking though. I do think they tend to force things at times. Nothing wrong with putting pucks to the net and getting a few ugly ones. Just hope they are a little more cautious come playoff time.

I'd like to see Del Mastro let a few more go from the point. He's almost only been passing. Hard to nitpick with how crazy they've been on it, but he's got a good shot. He should use it! Haha. Keep the PKers even more honest.

What a luxury it is to have two elite PP QBs & Ritchie is pretty damn solid at it too.

Also, can't say it with 100% confidence but I heard Filak's injury isn't serious. Might be 1-3 weeks but should be back soon. Sucks for him as he's been awesome lately. Think he's a really big under the radar guy for playoffs.

Gotta love the goaltending we've been getting since 2023 started.

Gaudreau is 11-4-2 with a 0.906 (0.916 if u take out the SSM fiasco.) Since that game, he's also 4-0-2 with a 0.921 in games vs LDN x3, KIT, FLT & NB. On average he faced 34 shots a game in those 6, too.

Surzycia meanwhile is 4-1-0 in 2023 with a 0.922 Sv%! Obviously helps he usually gets the lesser teams, but still nice to see. Not easy going prolonged stretches without playing.

Let's hope they can keep it up. After this weekend our schedules lightens up drastically so hopefully, they can boost their stats a bit. Karsen Chartier has had a phenomenal yr with Burlington u18. Wouldn't hate seeing him get a start vs a lesser team late in the yr since 3rd is looking pretty secure.

I’d say sarnia and windsor have the most top end talent. London has a lot of higher end depth players and the best coaching.

I hope you are right. I don't see any motivation greater then being able to officially secure a playoff spot. I fully expect Sarnia to blow SSM out of the water tonight. No excuses.

The race behind us continues to be a roller coaster. GUE is playing the best hockey of the bunch by a fair margin & may be cementing themselves as one of the two to be in the 4-5 matchup.

SAG is sliding. FLT inconsistent. OS was really struggling then beat KIT&LDN. KIT continues to make no sense

I know it's still a bit away, but I'd definitely prefer to play SAG the most. Not even sure who I'd say is 2nd. FLT, KIT, OS would not be pushovers. KIT easily has highest upside & I'd say OS is 2nd so I guess FLT, but they wouldn't roll over. Alot of playoff experience on that team & we've had a whale of a time dealing with Lombardi + of those teams they're easily the nastiest/most physical.

Confident vs any, but the path of least resistance is definitely the one I want haha.

Bench the entire top PP unit. I don't even care. What a disgraceful effort. Getting run out of the building by these guys AGAIN. Nobody throwing a hit. Nobody backchecking. Nobody winning a board battle.

Awful.

Top line, top pair come out & could not look bothered to do a damn thing. About 2 minutes away from turning this garbage off again

We aren't gonn win another game after this weekend with how this team comes to play vs the lesser teams!

Gave this team to much credit that they'd come out & play worth a damn after being embarrassed by this group. Guess Letang should put them thru another hard practice week since they've already forgotten it.
