I look at Sarnia and Windsor and on paper, they should be a league above London. It’s crazy how London always seems to get the best out of their players. They have no real superstars but still, ALWAYS find a way. Mind boggling sometimes lol
So well coached. Always in sync. Never make mistakes. Great goaltending & special teams. So impressive because of what u said. Not 1 star F.

London doesn’t have superstars upfront but diaco and mcgurn have been great leading their offence. They also have 4 solid lines they can roll and trust. Solid depth On the backend, they have Mailloux and abunch of good younger players good depth at that position too, two real solid goalies. They just have a lot of depth, stud on defence, stud in net. Great coaching and a team that outworks their opponents. Sarnia needs to learn to play fast against them when it’s 5 on 5. London does literally everything fast, constantly hustling with and without the puck.

Completely agree. We just have the stretches of not moving our feet & it kills us. When we are skating we were generating quite a lot & spending time in their end.

Just like PD 2&3 last week in LDN & PD 1&2 at home vs ldn.

The other periods we just seem to not for whatever reason. Team has gotta stay focused for 60 minutes.

the attitude of a points a point is gonna kill us in the playoffs and is a losers mentality. I bet London fans never say things like that... especially after blowing a 3rd period lead twice. Bad trend of choking away 3rd period leads. Win the damn game.... also 0-3 in the shootout... burke should be shooting rather than voit imo. Burke is out best goal scorer and already had 2 goals yet they go with a guy who's best attribute is passing. Burke is like 3rd in the ohl in goals... the goal of the shootout is to score not who can dangle and look fancy... Sarnia absolutely let down Gaudreau. I've been hard on him but hes been probably the best goalie in the league the last little bit.... maybe Brochu. Lastly, Sarnia's 5-5 play is bad... zero creativity, they never carry the play and London basically shut them down with ease.

Rock & Hardplace
Windsor finally hitting a rut. LDN rolling again. Very well may go 1 LDN 2 WSR 3 SAR. Would mean we see WSR RD2 (barring a choke)

Can't say I prefer it. Ik WSR is struggling but that firepower is a bit intimidating. Feel we are right there w/ldn. Be an epicly close series (which my heart probably couldn't take haha)

See how we matchup with the Spits next week.
Tough weekend for the Spits. 3 in 3 with London/Sarnia at either end. Flint in the middle. Not seeing a great result against Sarina.

Totally agree, but I also think it’s a good thing that we can play like absolute garbage and still find a way to salvage a point. That won’t matter come playoffs as you said, but it does matter right now with SAG nipping at our heels in the standings.

But there’s no doubt that Sarnia needs to find ways to get over this hump of not being able to compete for 60 mins. Ben has been really good for us since the world juniors minus that SSM game, so there really shouldn’t be any excuses left in the book for not being able to win a hell of a lot more games than we have…especially with our roster.

Still waiting to see this team play to their true potential and on a consistent basis. Finishing the remaining games with a relatively easier schedule also makes me nervous that some lazy tendencies may develop heading into playoffs. Coach is gonna need to do his job and nip this shit in the butt to be frank.

Also helps that there is no 3 on 3 and shootout bullshit in playoffs. That’s just not hockey.

Certainly hasn't been a strong point this yr lol. Gotta be 2-8 or 3-8. Something like that. Would've figured with the talent we put out there they'd be better at it..

I know it's a loser mentality (I am a Sting fam after all!) I just think there's s difference between yesterday & last week.

The 3-0 choke was bad & unacceptable. Yesterday we never looked right. Team just didn't have it. So to get a pt vs the top team for me, you take it & move on.

It is very frustrating that in 2 games vs OTT & 2 games vs LDN they've been right there & could of won all 4 & instead a re 0-2-2 (in the 4 losses). The team needs a killer instinct. They had it for a couple weeks but have lost it. They aren't turtling which I like but they aren't putting away there chances when they come.

Pastujov had a wide open net yesterday late up 3-2. He scores its probably over. Sikic in OT had 2 wide open chances. Vilmanis had 2 grade A looks in the 3rd. Then 0/3 in SO. SOMEBODY has gotta step up & put one in. Agree Burke 100% should've shot.

Windsor in round 2 will be tough, yes.... but I think we win that series. A London Sarnia west final will be the biggest event in Sarnia sports history.

3 on 3 also isn't hockey.

lol I know but we gotta change... as I said the atmosphere during the Ottawa game and London game was non-existent.... basically everyone was sitting there waiting for something bad to happen... then boom. The negative energy in the hive is contagious.

It really is lol. It's ingrained in my mind it won't end well for us lol. I was sitting there last night like man, what a fricken series these teams would have.

Then I thought 1. No way my heart could handle it haha & 2, we'd lose in the most devastating, heartbreaking fashion ever.

Going to tonight's game. First roadie since G2 @ KIT in 2018. Fingers crossed they put in a good effort haha.

With how hard the following couple games are we need a W tonight. Looking for Voit to bounce back.

God damn unbelievable. Got here early & now gotta wait 3 bloody hours just for puck drop lmao.

Gonna be some major bus legs for the team. Might need Surzycia to keep them in it early.
Lmao sorry man…bad bounce. Hopefully not a sign of things to come for the game lol

Feel like it might... haha. Gonna be a sloppy game probably. Least sag is sitting around too.

I'm just hoping they open the arena up here shortly. They will charge u again for parking if u leave to grab a bite to eat.

It says the Budweiser Red room is open at 5:30. I’m assuming that is the spirits bar/restaurant in the arena.

Unfortunately for me anyway, it's there chili night! Lol. Not a fan. From what I saw that was it for that area.
