Always tough to tell on camera too. I’m sure it’s a lot larger in person. Either way, it’s a massive upgrade and one that should help with recruitment.
Next thing the sting/city should do after the dressing Reno’s is replace the ugly ass maroon seats. By nice black seats, I think it would make the arena look much sharper just replacing those, half the seats that should have cup holders are broken off anyways, time for new ones. Here is a picture of red deers new black seats they got installed a couples years ago.

Only issue with yellow is when it's a bad crowd oh man does it stand out how many empty seats there are & the next few years it's likely to be fairly empty lolol

lol true, I much rather have a "yellow seat night" over "purple seat night" tho....Do all black with each section having a honeycomb design with the yellow seats lol. :hyper:

I like the honeycomb idea a lot. Another idea could be alternating vertical black and yellow stripes 4 or 5 seats wide all the way around the rink.

Honestly not too hopeful for Tonight's game vs NB. They are 18-3-1-1 at home and have the #1 PK league wide operating at 87%!!

Hopefully Ben has a nice home coming and can steal us a game.

Need statement win vs a contender. That 6 game win streak was vs bottom conference teams.

I'm intrigued to watch it. No real expectation for it. 2 very talented rosters. Aren't many teams built like NB so it'll be a real test for us. Would be really nice to get a W over another one of the elites.

Hopefully, Ben isn't to nervous as it's his first game in his hometown. Sure he'll have tons of ppl there.

This is the kinda game where we need L3 to step up. See if they can.

What a pace to this one. Great start so far. Also, does this guy just not see the Belluz part of Del Bel Belluz??? Lol

Idk how Ritchie lost his stick but had he had it that goal doesn't happen. Unfortunate. Do gotta be sharper in their own end. Been a little loose.

PP stays hot! Pastujov blast. Outshot them 17-8 in the 1st. Really good opening PD. Gotta keep it up! L2 & Vilmanis are absolutely buzzing.

Pastujov and Vilmanis were great in the first. Looks like the goal on Sunday really helped Sandis. North Bay is a really fast team and want to get out on the rush. The Sting need to limit those opportunities better in the second, they gave up a couple 2v1 in the first. Ben made a couple nice saves early on. Fun period to watch!

Guy 2 hand wacks Gaudreau & we get the extra 2. Refs in this league suck. So much. Then miss an obvious high stick. Now calling us again.

Haven't complained in awhile but these last 6-7 minutes have been ridiculous. Well this game was fun & entertaining before these stooges stepped in

Flow of this game died real quick! Lord. PP after looking good looked horrendous at the end. Hopefully don't regret letting those 2 chances go by. Gotta close it out! Won't be easy.

I think both parties can agree that these refs are brutal lol.

Great pace to this one. These teams look like they hate each other already. Sarnia matching the physically very easily. Clearly not hindering the forward group. Boys are buzzing out there.

Let’s hope the whistles go away for the third so we can have an entertaining third. Benny playing well.

Was really fun & entertaining for 30 minutes before the stripes ended it. 5 calls. Majority soft. Killed the flow entirely.

Voit's best game in weeks & it's vs a big, nasty team. Love to see that. Gotta tighten up in PD3

Outstanding win. They were the better team all night. That was a clinical 3rd period. Allowed almost nothing especially 5on5.

Voit's best game in weeks. L2 was dominant. Thought Filak was awesome as was Vilmanis. Mast-Del Mastro were terrific. Entire Dcore was superb especially in the final 20.

Gaudreau was really solid. Now we wait & see on Pastujov.. kid has been an absolute superstar.. Can't afford losing him especially with our upcoming schedule. Fingers crossed..

Pastujov joined the team at the end to celebrate the win. You'd like to think that means it isn't serious but he was in some distress.

That kids been phenomenal. Idk if it's a hot take to say, but he's our best player. Has been since he arrived. He got hit good in his first shift & it seemed like it set him off in a good way..he took over. That line is elite & are really clicking.

Kyrou isn't getting points lately but love his defensive play. He's really been working hard. Ritchie, Mast been awesome. Dilly as usual a rock. 77 is an absolute animal. We haven't had many D like him. love the way they moved the puck in PD3.

Gaudreau another good start. Had to feel good at home. Now let's hope they don't do exactly what they did when they beat PBO 4-2 then lost to KGN. SBY is young & talented. Gotta come to play.

You guys have one helluva team too. Very big & physical. Feel for the teams that gotta go thru u because if they somehow do they'll leave banged up & bruised.

Like ur chances in the east.

Great road win tonight. That was Voit's best game in awhile. He got hit a few times early on and instead of becoming invisible, like he has at times this year, he stepped up and played an outstanding game. His playmaking was amazing. I thought Gaudreau played well, had some trouble with rebound control but fought through it and stopped 24/26. Unfortunate to see Pastujov go down, hopefully he's alright, he was good tonight before the injury. Seems like the goal on Sunday energized Sandis. If Pastujov is out tomorrow, I wouldn't be surprised if he sees time on the second line with DBB and Sikic. Awesome job shutting down NB in the third, held them to just six shots and only one was really a dangerous chance. Tomorrow has trap game written all over it. Have to come out with intensity and squash Sudbury's hopes of pulling an upset.
