Good win... Buzz are elite when Gaudreau plays well... I thought they handled NB pretty easy last night.

Big road trip ahead. Anything less than 4/6 points will be a disappointment. NB will be a huge test. They'll present a lot of things we don't often see in the West this yr. Very big, structured team. 18-3 on home ice, too.

4/6? - they're on track to get 6/6.

His gear. It was when they all came off the bench. I went back & watched the final 4-5 minutes & went .5 speed whenever the puck was by our bench.
he was on it.

So seems like we dodged a major bullet. Still never know how he felt today. See if he's in tonight.

Kitchener finally fires their coach. Still a team I'm very hesitant about meeting in RD1. Even though we've thoroughly dominated them in all 3 meetings their talent is undeniable.

Hopefully, if they catch fire it's enough to get to 5th & if they don't they stay 7th or 8th. I honestly wouldn't mind their chances vs LDN in the playoffs just like last yr.


But that's a ways away & who knows what's happened by then & at the end of the day I really do believe in this teams ability when we are clicking no matter the opponent.

Let's hope the boys don't take their foots off the gas tonight. Sudbury is still a team that's scored the same amount of goals as PTB. Not to be taken lightly by any means. Hoping for a Surzycia start, if not today then Sunday for sure. Maybe even both honestly....like @StingUpdates said, we got a pretty grueling schedule moving forward. Would be fine with either outcome, just as long as he gets one of the starts.

The Ottawa losses are what they are. The KGN loss & this game are embarrassing. Especially tonight. It happens once. U learn from it & don't let it happen again. Been a carbon copy of that game. They don't wanna put in the effort.

Very disappointed in Vilmanis' game tonight. Played awesome last night & got elevated to L2 & has done nothing with it.


L4 has been good but have such little scoring touch it hurts lol. Defensively been the loosest we've been in weeks. Maybe since this group formed.

They aren't gonna have their A-game every night. It's impossible. What's infuriating is I'm not sure we even need our B-game vs KGN or SBY to beat them. But in each game (following a great W) they played about as uninspired as they could.

KGN should've been a 1-off. For it to happen on their first road trip after is what makes it even more annoying. They are lucky the losses likely won't cost them a seed as OS seems to be sputtering.

Gonna be a fired-up Soo squad who wants revenge for that 12-1 drubbing. Boys better be ready.

Would seem Letang agreed with me as Vilmanis didn't play the final 5-6 minutes. Gotta take those opportunities when a guy like 36 is out. Was nice to see Filak score. He was one of the few who was really digging in tonight. Was another dominant 3rd period, but you can't show up for that PD & expect to win.

Pastujov might be back in Sunday. He wanted to play tonight but team decided to be careful.

And we definitely did not bring a good game. Was a well deserved 2 points for u guys. Played alot harder especially the first 2 periods.
