Macdonald just went with Martone and picks to missasauga for del bel bulluz and del Mastro.
MacDonell did. Not MacDonald. I do wonder if we move a D. We have 10 or 11 now. Can't imagine we just scratch Young, MacDonald, Hoover every night.

Ohh okay gotcha. Wonder if they’re gonna pick up anymore depth on D. Definitely done playing with the big fishes though
We are absolutely set on defence, real good top 6 plus solid depth guys. Need a veteran third line forward.

Owen MacDonald not Angus MacDonell. I know very confusing that we had a MacDonald and a MacDonell
Yep I read that wrong lol.

I would still love a goalie and another bottom six forward but we don't have much left to trade. If we make any more trades they will be minor. Plus I don't know if we have any cards left. I think we're at 30.

Fully agree. Filak-Sikic & another solid winger is a really solid 3rd line. Especially when Marko plays like he did last night.

Preferably be a stronger more powerful forward who brings physical play.

I'm just not sure there r any goalies out there. Hopefully Ben plays tomorrow vs a weak Erie team & plays well. Next weekend though we have PBO & OTT. 2 super stacked teams who r also going for it. Should be a helluva weekend.

I wanted Ivanov awhile ago but he's really struggled the last month-ish. Not sure he'd be much of an upgrade on Surzycia at this point.
Look at the team in front of him!

I could definitely see us trading Owen Macdonald. We have too much depth at defence. Lol

Agree the team in front of his is sick but the other team is still going to get shots on goal. I've seen quite a few Sarnia games this year and for sure, the defence wasn't amazing, but Ben was letting in wrist shots from above the circle, wrap arounds, giving up bad rebounds. With Ben in net it seemed like the puck was always bouncing around in the crease while he was no where to be seen. Just never really mad a save. No matter what happens I will always be holding my breathe when the other team is coming down.

I think she was referring to Ivanov having poor numbers because of a poor greyhounds team infront of him this year.

Wouldn't mind a Wainwright and Dillingham for Piercey trade now
He’s the type of guy we need. But then that leaves a big whole on the 4th line and our 3rd defence pair. They are both real good depth guys. I think we could find a cheaper option for a third liner. Maybe Owen Macdonald and a two draft picks for Liam gilmartin.

With a 2nd & two 4ths available they could definitely get a good 3rd liner. But if @SarniaStingFan is right we have no cards left to make a trade. See if anything happens !

You don't need a 4th line in playoffs. They just sit there and fill in if a player gets tossed or hurt.

Playoffs can have lots of injuries that’s why you need to have (good depth) guys that can move from the 4th line up and handle it. I just don’t think a trade like that makes too much sense for sarnia right now.

Talking to GenUpdates on twitter & he mentioned we might be at 29 player cards. Doherty wore a cage for us which means he was a "B" card not an A. So we might have 1 card left.
Feel bad for Hoover and Fischer… both too good to be in the press box.
Yah it's definitely a shame for them. I honestly have loved Hoover's game this season. If anybody gets hurt it's such a luxury he can step right in. Didn't get mentioned because we played so well, but his fight was awesome yesterday. Got the building rocking & the bench fired up. He takes NO sh*t. Least Fischer is just 16 so he's still learning & it'll be unbelievable for him to learn from Del Mastro (an underrated part of getting him)..
Put Kyrou in as 3rd line forward and play Hoover or Fischer as 6th D??
I thought he did a great job picking his spots yesterday. Him & Ritchie were such a fun pair together it's actually a shame they are probably being split up lol. Not sure they can go wrong with the pairings. Be interesting to see what they go with!

Hoover knew when he was dealt here that he was a depth peice, just be happy he’s on a contending deep and be ready if there is an injury or suspension and he will be playing lots the next two years in his home town. Fischer has played great for a young defenceman and he can learn off all the studs on this team now. Sit back and learn as much as he can and again wait until you get a chance to play. He will play lots the next 3 years.

I see some talk about adding another forward. I think Sarnia certainly has some pieces left.

Wonder what it would take for you guys to get Braeden Bowman out of Guelph.

You've got quite a number of 04's and 05's to make up for lack of picks but he'd be a very nice addition to a top 9 group and imagine he'd be cheaper then other options.

Just a thought.

I've thought about adding him a few times. He'd fit what we need to a tee. So would Lawrence in OS.

Seems a bit underwhelming, there has to be a second part coming after the season. Del maestro himself could have gotten three 2nds and a couple of 3rds. Martone is good but usually see much more in a deal. Same for DBB.
Go see how many top 5 picks have ever been traded for players at 16. Getting Martone is a coup for Miss..

I had it at 30 even with Doherty and Grover being on B cards. So unless Fischer or Young are on B cards, we're out

I’d love to acquire bowman, think Guelph would be open to trading him? He could be a good OA for Guelph next season, if they were open to a trade what would they want from sarnia?

Young might have been, I know at one point he was wearing a full visor/cage.

They don't have a great crop of returning 03's for next season so I don't believe they look at next year as a go for it year, likely the year after so I do think they'd be open to finding another younger player or two to jump into the line up. I believe they're open for business.

Ideally I think they'd like to get back a 2nd and 3rd to start but Guelph is pretty set up for high picks so they could just ask for bodies and be fine with it.

Only three things I have to say on all that's transpired.
1) The steelhead are going to be insanely good in a few years.
2) Make it out of the west or big bust for the sting
3) Gaudreau better be above average to great
