That would be great. Like he said probably a little doubtful between the two teams again, but that's the premise of a trade I'd like to do.

But if we r doing Del mastro trade we won't have enough picks left for a good legit T6 F

Should be a good one tonight. London has been unreal the last 2 months. League best 11-2 on the road.

Already played a game which is a bit of an advantage coming out of a break. See how long it takes us to find our game.

Gonna need a solid outing for Surzycia as it's unlikely we put up 5-6 goals on a stingy team like the Knights.

Sold-out crowd expected & we know all to well how those tend to go lol. Hoping for a split in this back2back.

Vilmanis and Latvia will play in the relegation round against Austria or Germany after losing 3-0 against Slovakia today

per TSN: Milic gets the NYE start.

Hoping for a good game tonight, but since it’s a sellout, probably not.
It’s going to be a loud one, London represents when they come to town.

Hoover back in tonight! First time in almost 2 months. Good for him. Gonna be quite a bit rusty I imagine.

Must mean no Mast still which sucks. Hopefully it's not something else now because he should he healed up from the jaw injury by now.

Mast looks to be back in.
So they pump up Hoover's return but make ZERO mention Mast is back. Lmao.

I hate how awful the reporters r at covering the team here. Everywhere else I see constant articles, stories, interviews. absolutely no transparency here.

Not that they deserve to be in it, but their goalies have been horrid tonight. Been 3 they should've had. Be a 1 goal game instead of a blowout.

Said before they had to maybe survive the start while they knocked off the rust & they did not & it sunk them.

Did not like goals 1, 4 or 6. Not sure we got 1 big save tonight & it's impossible to beat a team like LDN with goaltending like that.

Great to see the PP look legitimately elite. They mishandled the bench at the end as using Voit, Pasta in the 4on4 left them tired for the PP. Never got whistle to get energy. Sucks.

Hopefully can start tomorrow's game the way they finished. Need a MUCH better game from Surzycia & better structure off the rush. To many times LDN guys got in behind them.

As for LDN. Very impressed. Hunter has them completely in sync as a unit. Mailloux as advertised is a great player but a complete moron.

Great to see the PP working well tonight. Hopefully that continues. You can tell how much this team misses Vilmanis on the second line, he drives the play of that line. Mailloux should be suspended for a long time for his actions tonight. An absolute idiot

Thought that the entire night too. Sandis absolutely carries that line for carrying it in, getting to the net & drawing guys in to create space.

Was a full on display of why this team needs another good F IMO. Feel like MacDonell has gone ice cold the last 10-15 games. Just not playing with the same energy, spark. Needs to find it because he's a guy we need to produce on L3 to make us deeper. Will say playing with Way probably doesn't help him for scoring goals

Let's hope that's only the beginning for the PP. It has all the talent to be that effective. Was great to see Voit get a 1T goal too! First time I can remember him doing that.

I agree on needing to get another foward (preferably a center). I think promoting Wainwright could help MacDonell, I've been super confused on why they've buried Wainwright on the 4th line. He played great with Vilmanis and Filak. Third line should be MacDonell-Wainwright-Martone until Vilmanis comes back.

Once Vilmanis comes back I'd try:

Pastujov-Burke-Voit
Wainwright-Filak-Vilmanis
MacDonell-Limpar-Lantz-Sikic
Doucette-Way-Martone

Home ice. Sold out...... Of course Sarnia loses. This team is kind of a joke.. London really isn't even trying to be good and Sarnia is doing all they can to be good and they get spanked on home ice. Hunter is such a good coach its ridiculous..... such good structure while Sarnia runs around like chickens with their heads cut off. Im sure Sarnia will make one more move just to get beat out in round 1 and be awful again for the next 3 years.

Dave, you nailed it right on the head. London knows how to do it the right way and build winning teams. The years they are in rebuild mode are years that the sting and most teams in the league would die for. Great management and structure in the way they coach. The sting will sell whatever scraps they have left to get this "savior" of a player that sets them back another 3 years and rinse and repeat. If they get rid of Martone and MacDonell it's gonna be extremely hard to support this team after another first round exit going forward. Man, this franchise is so frustrating year after year....

I wouldn't even care if they traded MacDonnel.... he bring nothing to the table and shows no skill. He's played 31 games and 7 of his 12 goals came in 2 games. In 24 of his 31 games he hasn't scored. in 19 of his 31 games he hasn't even got a point.... For a first round pick in his second year that's brutal. Sarnia's scouts need to be better I can't remember the last time we've had a first round pick be good... Perrault in 2018 I think..... after that its bust after bust.... Also Max thriving in Guelph shouldn't be over looked... The second he leaves Sarnia hes getting 1.50 ppg.

Respectfully- points/stat lines don’t tell the whole story. As seen from the avatar, I love the way Angus plays, big fan. He’s sandpaper, kills penalties, isn’t afraid of corners (or anything else), takes the abuse net front on PP, takes hits to make plays, etc. Has he been clutch around the net, not so much, he’s the first to admit that. Come playoff time, I’d like to revisit this. Letang loves him, so do a lot of other teams GM’s.
Max is doing well in Guelph and that’s great, hoped he would have used the opportunity on the first line in Sarnia to produce like that. That’s hockey, I hope it all comes together tonight and they return the favor in London, and get some clutch saves.

I know it's a little off topic but what do you think happens with Campbell, Fischer, and Young now that the Sting have all their d-men healthy? Do they go play in the GOJHL with the Legionnaires or another team? Does Young go back to Wellington (OJHL) where he played earlier in the year?

If you give up on him we wouldn’t mind someone with that type of skill set in London

So technically max was the last good 1st round pick then lol. The coaches on this team are clearly brutal. If a guy can leave and go to another team and light it up it’s not the player it’s the teams playing system and coaches that aren’t allowing the player to thrive. Londons players aren’t even very skilled this year. They just played a way more structured and aggressive game. They played as a 5 man unit. Every guy on their team knows his role and plays very simple hockey and they shut it down defensively then they work very hard on the forecheck/backcheck to cause turnovers and they capitalize. Didn’t help that Suryzcia let in about 3 VERY stoppable pucks. Sarnias players don’t seem to be on the same page as one another or know their roles and they try to win by skill when most goals you need to outwork the opponent to score.
