Huge win for the team! Couldn't have scripted a better start for the Sting. DBB getting on the board and Pastujov getting an assist was exactly what the team needed. Voit and Burke with yet another beautiful play on Burke's PP goal. I liked the look of the PP with Kyrou on the top unit. It doesn't hurt to give Del Mastro a few minutes off. Great individual effort from Pastujov on the third goal. We need to see that type of effort from him every night from now on. Then, great work by our depth on the fourth and fifth goals. Great shift from Burke, MLL, and Vilmanis on the 4-1 goal. Dillingham played the bank perfectly off the boards and great awareness by Limpar-Lantz to get positioning and slide it home. Shout out to Dillingham too, great game with 3A and the big fight. Awesome to see Ritchie score the 5-2 goal after he got screwed on London's second goal. That's how you stick it to the refs. No let up tomorrow night. Come out and win again!
I thought Fischer made some great plays too before that L-L goal. He had his best game of the series tonight. Had a 1on1 with Mailloux & he played it perfectly then laid a nice hit on him.

Was great to see the draft class too. Nobody tell them this is a once every 10 years type of crowd 😂

Watching post game interview & couldn't help but notice Dale Hunter look legitimately happy to see how big, loud the crowd was here. Definitely seemed like him & his brother are actually happy to see this fan base buzzing like this.

Oh what could've been... lmao.

That's the weird part about the rivalry with London. It's always been more of a rivalry between the players and not the coaches. I've seen Hunter go off on refs but I don't think I've ever seen him chirp the Sting coaching staff

They & Letang are friends. Something pretty wild would have to happen for them to chirp.

It is surprising he & Hatcher never went at it haha. But let's be real he'd be punching down from a coaching perspective If they chirped back&forth.

This series has been shockingly tame so far.. it doesn't even feel on the cusp of boiling over either.

Letang and his staff are a big reason the Sting are where they are. Look at how many times your GM built a great team to be for not in the playoffs that was largely on Hatcher. Those teams despite the skill they were loaded with were almost always more interested in gooning then scoring.

Attack fan here. Great game last night. I'm so glad to see Tanger getting this opportunity. Hope your guys come prepared to elevate there game even more tonight. I think we all know what Sting are gonna face in Gm4. Take the game to the Knights and this fan will be cheering hard for a Sting victory.

What prospects were at the game? Anyone have a list
All 3 u18 picks. Then I believe these were the ohl picks there ~

Brown, Barr, Hurt, Bridgewater, Kosiba, Beamish, Andersen; McNally, Luecke, Filippone.

Sim couldn't make it since his tournament just ended. Quinlan, Jette, Beardsley the other 3 not there.

I was nervous for last night's game, excited for tonight. It's going to be a long series, forget officiating. Just play hockey, and play whatever hand you're dealt and stay out of your own heads (players and fans).
Staying on the topic of heads: Pastujov was giving it to Bowen about his 5 hole for an entire time out, fun to watch the gamesmanship. Also, I hope Sarnia's Sim turns out like London's, what a prick. I mean that in a complimentary way, would love to have them on your team, everyone else hates playing against them. Just an absolute MutherFer in every way.
Do we see more of Hoover tonight? Do we see less cutesy neutral zone passes? So keen, time is moving very slowly today....

They gotta come out hot. You know LDN is gonna have a response. These teams both are significantly better when leading. Especially LDN who goes lockdown mode if leading in the 3rd.

Looking for Voit tonight. He wasn't bad at all yesterday, but he was the league's 2nd best point producer. Be nice to get a multi-point game from him. Vilmanis hasn't had one of his "takeover" games either. Now would be a good time.

Win this & make it a best of 3!

Promising if Luecke and Kosiba were there! Good night for them to watch.

I think Hoover will see more than his 1 shift last night. But the kid has played 20 games this year it’s going to be hard for him to see much ice. Not sure what has kept him out but I would be worried about him getting hurt again.

Definitely winning tonight back to London all tied up

They did less drop passes and cute plays than they did in London. But still need to tidy that up and limit them more. Also London is going to play much harder and faster than they did last night, sting need to be prepared for what london is about to bring. Play hard, fast and disciplined and let the skill take care of itself and happen naturally.

He’s tried to have those rushes, but I don’t think you will see those rushes against London they are too fast and defensively sound. Everytime he tries to get one going they are all over him.

Nice start by the Sting ! Pastujov looks like a man possessed. So far the forecheck is relentless. Hopefully they can keep this up.

Wtf is r PK strategy. 2 guys completely unguarded screening Ben. He has no chance. Unacceptable shift from DBB. 2 behind the back TOs than a lazy, brutal penalty to tie the game.

Pastujov is absolutely flying. Poor Hoover man. He's hurt again

Great first half of the period, terrible second half of the period. Loved what I saw from Pastujov. Need to clean up the team defensive play. London probably had 4 or 5 odd man rush opportunities. Need a great second period here

Great answer after 3-2 goal. You have to take advantage of mistakes and that's exactly what the Sting did on the McGurn penalty. Kept it rolling from there. Now time to shut down London for the third
