THANK YOU! Huge PPG & we r going to another thanks to Mailloux. Be HUGE to start the 2nd with a goal & get up 2.

You know the PPs will even out eventually. 5on5 thought we did fairly well, but we gotta cut out the cross ice passes in LDNs zone.

Nice to see 73 bury that shot on the PP ! Up until then the PP looked very tentative just repeatedly working the puck around the perimeter but not generating any scoring chances. Let's hope they can get things going with the Special Teams. Going to need to to win this series.

London was a bit lucky IMO Barkey wasn't assessed a 5 for slew footing. That looked pretty textbook on Mast. Clearly swiped his leg out.

But we definitely got our breaks with those posts 😂

Agree with everyone, PP needs to be better. London seems to be stacking high in the zone with 3 men up near the point. Trying to take away the passing of Voit, Del Mastro, and Pastujov

Great first period by the Sting scoring their first goal on the PP. Nearly gave one up against the Knights after the PP late in the first. You can't let up against a well coached London Knights team or they will make you pay. Hope for a good 2nd period.

Why why WHY would u go L4 off an icing vs a tired unit. Top line hasn't had a shift in 2+ minutes. That's on Letang.

Horrific penalty by Dillingham & a bad goal for Gaudreau. Wonderful.

This is a turning point for the Sting. They either keep their cool and regroup, getting the lead back (with their superior talent), or they lose their shit, take bad penalties, and get routed.

Skating in quicksand that period. They need to stop retaliating after London takes shots at us. Refs are calling us on it every time. Need the big guns to start create some offence in the third

Do they realize they're playing in a playoff game??????????

I am genuinely stunned at their effort in this game. Disgraceful.

I'm not sure I have ever been let down more by a game in my entire life.

I'm serious. LDN looked average at best tonight & we mailed it in. A conference final game & we mailed it in.

Didn't wanna take a hit. Didn't wanna block a shot. Didn't wanna eat a cross check. N

2nd & first 12 minutes of the 3rd were a disgrace. Wow. Just wow.

Throw it in the trash & move onto Sunday where the effort better be 100x better.

Sarnia took it to London in the first period. We took control of the 2nd and despite being more on the defensive London’s was in control in the 3rd.

Hey, 8 wins, 8 to go.
I’ll be pleased to come out of London with a split, and that’s still VERY possible.
I’m sure everyone knows what they need to do better.

Yah it's not the end of the world I'm just floored at that 2nd period + first 10-12 of the 3rd. We stopped skating. I said the key to this series is we keep our feet moving & we do the exact opposite no less than 30 mins into game 1.

They showed in the 1st + final 10 mins of 3rd what they can do. Need to do it for a full 60. PP needs to show A LOT more urgency. There were passes to be made & they tried to be cute.

Onward to G2. Still full belief in them.

Same sentiments SU. This was theirs to lose... they dominated in the first and then came out flat. Shake the nerves and come out strong next game.

refs made bad calls both ways. Knights are the faster team. But the sting could cut their speed down by constantly moving their feet at all times like they do. Like they skate their bags off when they have the pucks on their sticks and when they are trying to get the puck on a forecheck or backcheck. Knights are just WAY more hungry. Sting MUST match their effort or this series is over. Also sting must learn to shoot the puck, enough passing on the outside until we lose and the knight take it down to our end. I’d be fine if Letang had Voit as a healthy scratch next game. His effort was flat out insulting to us fans, he looks like he doesn’t want to be there. Sting had about 3 five minute stretches of good effort. Not nearly enough. If Letang can’t get them to skate harder with and without the puck all game, shoot more and get bodies in front of the net, then this will be a quick series. Gaudreau played good.

I'd disagree on Voit. I thought he tried he just was to cute at times. I thought he had very little help. 86s worst game of the playoffs. Filak went off hurt twice. Agree on the rest. Was not thrilled with Vilmanis' effort or Kyrou's.

Didn't like Dickinson's goal, but Gaudreau made up for it with some grade A saves to keep them in it. Not nearly enough traffic in front of brochu consistently.

First goal was Kyrou fault , taking his time skating back knowing two London guys are skating hard after him and then he has no time to clear the puck. Ya I don’t see it with Voit at all….. wayyy to cute, hasn’t used his speed at all. Just not good enough. Filak was bad tonight. Burke was invisible for the most part. They just need to be quick, that fore checking and back checking and getting to loose pucks, skating hard while they have the puck, and moving the puck quick whether it’s shooting or passing. They hold onto the puck way too long thinking on whether to shoot or pass and it allows the defenders and goalie to get into position to block a shot. They just do a lot of floating which can’t happen.

Awful effort from this team on such a big stage. London came out slow in the first and the Sting didn't take advantage of it. Four PPs for the Sting in the first 22 minutes of the game and they looked awful on all of them (including the one they scored on). Needed to jump out to a bigger lead with all those opportunities. One lost board battle and the game is tied. Then, an unnecessary penalty by Dillingham leading to a goal that Gaudreau should have saved. The third goal was no fault of Gaudreau's. Three players go with Winterton, leaving Cowan wide open for the tip-in in front of the net The fourth goal summed up the night, the Knights hit the post with the net empty and Sarnia should get the puck back but Winterton beats Del Mastro to the puck to seal the game. No urgency at all tonight which was super disappointing. Have to come out hard and get the split on Sunday afternoon

Down 3-1, Knights get a penalty with 4.5 minutes left in the game. Can't believe Letang didn’t pull the goalie. What do Sarnia fans think? Hunter would have been salivating if the situation was reversed.
