In person ticket line looks like a thousand people strong. Guess I won’t be making any games to Sarnia because they’ll be sold out by end of day. Sucks for sting fans who don’t live in Sarnia. Especially the ones who have supported this team for longer then the band wagon fans that are buying up the tickets just because the team happens to be good this year. The more I think about it, the more pissed off I am.

@Otto, I take back what I said on the London board about this the other day. Apologies. You are correct.
No worries. Appreciated.

seeing that line-up on the Twitter reminded me of standing in line for the original Sting season ticket package so many years ago . Been waiting A LONG TIME thru some bad hockey to see a 3rd rounder come up in the spring and maybe a shot against the Petes. Push on boys , push on

Good luck in your series vs London. Having teams that haven't had much on ice success in the playoffs go deep is good overall for the league! Thumbs up!
Remember when the Knights fans invade your arena that only 98.7% of them give the rest a bad name! :) :) :)
Enjoy your series!!
I enjoyed that post on so many levels. Well done Ward. By the way, how's the Beaver?

The Beav is doing good...so is June but Wally is a pain in the butt though.
Bobber and I have some tee off times booked before he heads out to do his annual job of doing a fish survey for the Ministry of Natural Resources!

Respect for this post!
That was much my concern and posted as much. It can alleniate the long term supporters in favour of a short term thought.
Again I totally understand an ownership wanting the home strong crowd. I do. But really, if they were concerned too many opponent fans would scoop tics it suggests issues with the long term model. Build up the season tic base thru solid team results, offer them first dibs and it shouldn't be an issue.
Heck even offer up first dibs if you buy some sorta package for next year, seasons, 10/15/20 game packages....whatever. That would helped the bottom line next year also. Short sighted.
I personally enjoy the Gardens wirh a 1000 opponents fans in the building.
I hope long term time Sarnia fans who get shut out of tics, voice their opinions to management in hopes of improving the system down the road.
Many ways to manage it, ensure a Sting string crowd AND benefit the orgs bottom line next year. Those who gave support over the last 5-10 years and couldn't make it down for whatever reason are the biggest losers here in this situation.

The Sting did so much right this year and very well could/ probly will continue that path. Hopefully the short sightedness of ticker sakes management doesn't pull this again if they make the finals. ( I'm guessing they don't with the much longer drive for the opponent).

I feel for ya Ferda11. Sucks. (And others maybe in a similar sitiation)

Damn, wish you would've mentioned something Ferda! Could've grabbed u a ticket, or two.

It's crazy. Never seen anything like that for this team/city. It was wrapping the college before the box office was even open.

Lots of hype which is great. And I love the support of taking care of the ones who stuck by. Maybe if others are in line people could ask them to grab tics?
I'm sure more will be released st some point or not gobbled up today. Keep the refresh button handy over the next few days for this me who didn't grab seats.
Or check out London site, not sure how seats sales are going bit it's only an hour away.

I can offer up a seat at cost for Sunday in London if any1 wants one. Lower bowl, aisle, 8 rows up. If I know by today before 4.

Woozers!!!!!!! Hype is big. It's like US black Friday madness! Good to see that type hype. But just crazy.
Used to be that way all the time before the interwebby thing n that cloud place.
Reminders of when I knew someone who paid people 100 bucks to stand in line one day years ago to scoop up deals. Got 10 of them. Dropped em off at 2am with food n coffees, stopped by again at 6am with more coffees....... I wasn't really a fan but not against the rules I guess.

Yes Ward. We had to get those tee off times booked before the courses get flooded with Knight and Ottawa fans. Now back to you in the studio. :)

Was bored so made a team preview type thing for London. Really gonna be a chess match in this series.

Can already tell this week is gonna drag on like no other haha. Can't wait for Friday..

Good preview. London definitely is a turn them over, quick outs n transition squad.
They will attack off PK turnovers for sure. The Fs ( and even are looking to jump.up n exit a zone quick looking for a 2-1 off a TO)
And when playing well the work back hard thru the nuetral zone, and really play a tough player on player D zone coverage. ( when on their game)
A weakness can be a lack of cycle busters on half wall with physical play so they rely on positioning. ( as a team, a couple can physically disturb a cycle but they can be vulnerable)
Ya Friday can't come soon enough.

U18 Draft goes today. Seca said they'll take a goalie as they usually do in this. They've had good success with Thornton & Surzycia. Goalie coach Franky Palazzese has become a secret weapon for them in it. He works with a ton of goalies in Ontario & has a lot of connections.

See if they can get another one. Not much hope in the other picks, but you never know.

Wondered where Pallazzese went. First time I heard that name since he played in the OHL. Couple of years on the Rangers. The Sting need a huge win for the city. Go Sting!

Sim having a day at the national championships. 2G/1A. I've been watching some of his games lately & I'm a big fan. Obviously, a bit small (fingers crossed he grows like his brother), but he's very fast, quick & really skilled. Fearless, too which you love to see.

He was a projected QMJHL 1st rounder until he decided to go the OHL route.

Definitely has a quick step and a quick release on that shot. And plays hard. He gets 2-4 inches taller we got a real good player.
