Another goalie battle this has turned into. We gotta do a better job screening Lennox.

Garbage overturned goal looks pretty big right now

Gaudreau coming up huge on that PK. No clue how he saved that 1T.

Win a period & go up 3-0. Been way to low energy tonight.

12 shots…..yikes. Sting forwards generating nothing. Not liking what I’m half ass seeing so far tonight. Need to see some urgency!

Could this team look like they give a flying f*ck? It's a playoff game. Good lord. It was our #1 issue in the 2nd half & it's continued.

Team has ZERO killer instinct. Zero. This game should be 7-1. Saginaw is doing nothing, but we are doing even more than nothing.

Just stupid. Dillingham with a dumb cross check gets sent off for 4on4. Bad TO by Ritchie makes 77 take a trip to save a goal.

Voit has been terrible tonight. So reckless with the puck. Just throwing it to nobody.

Blatant high stick on Burke. 4 mins left. Up 1. Exact same scenario as the no fall on Voit in G2.

The sting simply are not moving their feet. Soo annoying sooooo much floating to loose pucks . HUSSLE!!!! And why do they try and do a cross ice pass everytime they rush it down? 9 times out of 10 it doesn’t work. Put the puck on net… could beat the goalie or get a rebound. Jesus.

No chance this should count. He bloody well knocked off a piece of Gaudreau's equipment lol. Don't be stupid OHL. Already have been once tonight.

The hockey gods are gifting us this with these shots from downtown on the empty nets.

There's no way that one should have stood if they called back the earlier goal for whatever reason, we still dont know

I don't even know what to say about those refs tonight. Called a fine game I guess but those 2 reviews seemed rather obvious & they got BOTH wrong. Shocking. Truly.

As for the game that's simply not good enough. They'd get ran out of the building by London playing like that. The complacency of this team will be its downfall if they don't wake up.

Nice to see goals from all over the lineup. Gaudreau was our best player by a mile. His best road start of the playoffs. He's having one helluva series.

Be better Thursday, make some franchise history & get a week off before what should be the series of our (Sting) life times.

I guess a wins a win.... ohl officiating can be pretty bad at times...Ben clearly hit but the goal stands ?? I dunno.... move on to game 4... Also, why did Saginaw get the memorial cup? awful barn, awful fans... who knows how good they will even be next year too... doesn't make much sense having the Canadian Hockey League championship in America.
They will be better then any other team that was trying to host…and it’s not even close to be honest. Venue and city though…..not my cup of tea lol.

I consider Sarnia fortunate to be playing Saginaw. They’d likely be down in a series vs any other team. Power play has gone completely cold. Energy and urgency has diminished. But yet here we are up 3-0 lol. Let’s please finish this in 4, get healthy and hopefully a little extra rest before round 3.

If the sting don’t wake up and learn to play hard for 60 minutes with and with out the puck with no floating they are going to get smoked by London. London is so well coached and they are so fast. Been watching a couple of their games and they work their ass off all night. Sting must learn to do that or else I don’t like our chances. Knights have skill and a real good goalie too. Better play one hard 60 minute complete game and close this out Thursday! Go Sting Go.

Probably not going to be well received but Sting have a good game plan for the playoffs. Steady as it goes and no panic. Don't get so caught up with the refs. Farther you go less whistles get used. You have one of it not the best team in the west. Up 3-0 is done by strong hockey and sticking to the plan. They don't look panicked out there. Enjoy the ride they are a good team.

If we play like that it's going to be a short conference final vs London. Then all those moves made by our GM will be for nothing.

Let's just hope they're saving their best effort for London lol. Cause I agree. We are a more talented team than them. Not sure anybody would argue it

But they get after it. Relentless all over the ice. If we have these lackadaisical stretches, periods, games it'll get ugly.

i have full confidence this team will beat them IF they play hard & intense. But some of these road games have left a lot to be desired.

They have done a great job remaining calm & cool. Even when they aren't playing there best. Not giving up chance after chance, but vs LDN u can't be lackadaisical for the long stretches we have been.

Hopefully part of it is just the illness that's hopefully gone thru the team now. Will say been incredible how well we've adjusted to losing different bodies every game. Big bodies to who play a lot of minutes.

Shoutout to the Ritchie-Dillingham pair tonight. 1G each & both go +3. Thought Del Mastro actually had an iffy night for once & they really stepped up.

Heck of a play by Lantz on 22s goal, too.

There is being calm and cool, and there is being lazy and floating all over the ice. You can still work hard while sticking to the game plan and remaining calm and cool.
I agree. I think the D have worked pretty hard. But some of the Fs have been floating around to much. Especially 73/96 at times.

There's a reason we all wanted SAG. They just aren't physical. I'm still stunned they beat FLT honestly

They've kept it close, which is admirable but for me it's been because of us.

When we've turned it on it hasn't been close. Like at all. For whatever reason we are content just letting them hang around. Credit to Lennox who's been fantastic, but we have another 3or4 gears left.

Let's hope they learned from G4 GUE how easily 1 loss can turn to 2 then G6 is in OT... Close it THURS & get themselves some rest. Come out possessed RD3.

I agree this team is capable of another level. Great to see Gaudreau playing well but you don't want to have to rely on him to get wins. Great play by the third line on Vilmanis goal. Hard work down low by Wainwright and Limpar-Lantz leading to the finish by Vilmanis. I really like the makeup of that line. It has everything you want size, smarts, and speed. Hopefully the Sting learned their lesson from last series. Come out and put away Saginaw on Thursday

Yep forwards have been floating wayy too much, there is a couple guys who have played hard. Mostly Voit and Del Bel are the worst for floating, pasta can do it abit too. But I think all of them can hussle harder than they have been. The defense have been working hard for sure, but a lot of time when they skate back for pucks they coast going back to their own end to retrieve it. Skate back hard that gives you more time to move the puck before the other team is on you. They also don’t move their legs and just try and hold guys off to the outside when they are skating with the puck, most of the team does that… move your legs and use your speed at all times.. so beneficial.
