The refs were over their heads today.
I’m sure there are more competent officials than what we’ve seen.

Great job by the Sting to take a 2-0 series lead without Kyrou and Vilmanis. It's kind of weird but I think all the injuries that happened early in the season are actually helping us right now. All the depth guys are ready whenever they're called upon. Great to see the PP working again, going 2/4. Going to be a big key going forward. Loved the discipline the Sting showed today too. They took two penalties but neither were actually penalties when you look at them. Meanwhile, Saginaw took a few undisciplined penalties and it cost them the game. Awesome to see Gaudreau playing well again after he struggled in the last five games of the Guelph series. Let's keep it going in Saginaw on Tuesday!

Great take. It definitely helped them. Guys got put into tough spots & now they aren't fazed by it. Loved seeing Wainwright out there late.

Been ALOT better in Rd2 for discipline. No lazy stick plays, or stupid penalties. Playing very clean & smart. Hopefully the PP catches fire now. Be HUGE.

SAG has improved a lot. Credit to Lazary. They're playing much better than in regular season. We just gotta keep pushing. They can't handle us when we push as hard as we can.

I know the first two round have been brutal, like I just don’t understand how the league thinks this is completely fine. These guys are the equivalent to bantam refs.

Thought today was Voit's best game maybe of the playoffs. He was playing with a lot of energy. I swear he's had like 5 mini breakaways. SAG gives him more of those & he'll start making them pay.

Burke continues to be tremendous. Points in all 7 playoff games hes been in. 13/22 on draws. He's having an all-timer playoff run for this organization. Also thought this was L2s best game in a bit. 36&73 were so close on a ton of looks.

L4 wasn't as good today, but Anderson has gotten under the skin of a few guys already. They want no part of him lol. Thought Fischer had a strong day. Continues to be such an impressive rookie. Mast had a great game while 74, 18 & 77 were as usual, rock solid.

I mean good grief. Dillingham hits all shoulder on Smith. U think if he hit head he bounces up that fast? Garbage. MacDonald wasn't even CLOSE to the head. Not even remotely

Voit gets textbook hooked in the hands but yet it's a no call.. right.. on a Grade A scoring chance, too...

They weren't bad thru 2, but that 3rd was a circus. Thank god it didn't cost us. As I mentioned in the tweet it's so frustrating because your taught early never cut to the middle with your head down..

Smith is an OA. Everybody knows who Dillingham is. Called having awareness. The LAST thing you should do is cut to his side head down. Your begging for it. Was a clean hit, too. Give it 5 years & there will be not hitting allowed in Jr.

I agree if u cut in the middle like that you deserve to get buried.... I just think the league wants to get rid of that play.... unfortunately dilly needs to just play the puck there of hit with his hips and avoid the upper body... In my books thats a clean hit... my biggest issue are the missed hooking calls late in the 3rd... it was so obvious the ref didnt make the call because that essentially ends the game... lack of a backbone by the refs.

OHL draft goes this Friday. Can't say I've been paying attention to it at all this yr. Just been so lasered in on enjoying this team & its run since January.

We lose so (so) much after this yr can't say I care what they take. Would imagine they'll covet a C, with Burke, Lantz, DBB all moving on. Gonna be about as late a pick as we've had. See what they can find. Have BARs 2nd. No 3rd, 6th or 7th.

Hopefully we can get another Perrault….a Guy who comes in and performs in his first year. Perrault was a 19th pick I believe. Be interesting to see how high the kid from sarnia goes. I believe he is projected to go between 10-20.

It would also be nice to get an actual Perrault next season. Is that door completely shut on Gabe reporting?

Big thing for game 3 tomorrow is has this team learned? Games 3&4 in GUE everybody knew the Storm would come out hot. Except Sarnia I guess who came out in quicksand & fell down 2-0 immediately.

While they could battle back like they did then, Lennox is a different beast than Leaver. Only been able to get 4 by him so far.

Even more so than Guelph, Saginaw is a young team. Don't give them confidence. Get a lead early & maybe they start to break a bit.

Sarnia trades 2025 3rd & 2026 4th to get a 2023 3rd. Looks like we got the Moldenhauer picks back.

They have a pick in all 3 opening rounds Friday now. This is our current cupboard of picks moving forward.

a lot better than most ppl thought. Outside 2026 which is 3 drafts away (we'll recoup those picks by then) we have more than enough picks. Just gotta start hitting on some 2nd Round picks dammit!! Haha.

Realy tidy work by Seca who went all-in & still manages to keep picks 1 thru 5 the next 2 years.

Ya definitely need to get 2 or 3 picks for the 2026 draft. Other than it looks fine. Wonder if they have their eyes on some guys that’s why they got a 3rd round pick this year

Well. Kyrou & Vilmanis are back! But as per usual it can't all be good news as Mast exits the lineup.

Pure speculation but guessing this has to do with his shoulder/arm opposed to him getting sick, too.

Hopefully it's just minor & they feel a few days off can help. He played all of G2, never left. He leaped onto the celebration after OT goal so clearly isn't super significant one would think. Quite the luxury this team has to be able to give guys "rest" days even in RD2. Testament to their depth.

For real though, can someone take a screenshot of that so called "offside"? It looked onside by a mile on the broadcast.

What a f*cking joke of a call. Terrible. WTF are they looking at. 12 clearly knocked it down himself. Vilmanis repeatedly yelling I never touched it because HE DIDINT.

Review it for 5 minutes just to get it wrong. Would've been a massive goal at the end of a period.

Can’t see shit because the feed on the CHL TV is glitching excessively.

I'll have to record it properly after, but it clearly was Wainwright. Doubt Vilmanis would be so adamant he didn't touch it too.

So annoying. As Rob said though. We gotta wake up. Another crap opening goal for Gaudreau on the road. Least he responded well
