Agreed. Let's be positive until then. 1 win away from franchise history. For awhile it felt like this may never happen lmao.

So much credit to Seca who's built one helluva team. Biggest thing for this team is Gaudreau is absolutely rolling. When he's our best player we will be so hard to beat.

Hopefully, KIT can prolong that series at least another game.

I'll say one really good thing about this series is they are getting very comfortable & confident in these tight, 0-0/1-1/2-1 games.

Assuming SAR&LDN close out their series you'd imagine a lot of the series will be contested like that.

Puck management, discipline, eating clock etc win those games & we are getting good at those things.

Shoutout to the Ritchie-Dillingham pair tonight. 1G each & both go +3. Thought Del Mastro actually had an iffy night for once & they really stepped up.

Heck of a play by Lantz on 22s goal, too.

I agree. I think the D have worked pretty hard. But some of the Fs have been floating around to much. Especially 73/96 at times.
I’ve noticed the same. 73 looks hurt to me, no jump and shying away from contact. He’s not playing like he did down the stretch. 96’s game isn’t as effective in the playoffs. There’s less time and space, one less move, one less pass, more ugly and less cute. That last sentence just isn’t Voit.

Agreed I’m a flames fan and I hated watching gaudreau in playoffs. Just not built for playoffs. His game wasn’t very effective when playoffs came around.

I'm not sure he's hurt. He's coming off his best game. GWG, 12 Shots. He's been amazing on draws. Has taken the 2nd most draws in the league in the playoffs. Is 110/189 (58.2 %) which is 5th best.

He's still over point per game with 10 points in 9 games. 14th in league scoring.

He's definitely been a bit lazy at times, but i think thats always been a thing for him. Can be hit or miss for really digging in.

His best stretch with us came in that tough 2 weeks vs NB/LDN/LDN/FLT/WSR. He had like 10 points. He seemed to really be fired up vs other elite teams. I'm confident he'll perform.

Also, Mast is not hurt he also is sick. Just ridiculous how this illness has gone player to player. Another reason why maybe some guys have looked "lazy/slow" at times.

Imperative we close it out tomorrow so they can get 2-3 days away from the rink & get it out or there systems. The last thing we need is dragging this out, more guys getting sick or banged up before LDN..

As for Voit he's been the most frustrating player for me. He's had the puck a lot. It's not like he's been scared to go get it, or make plays. He's just simply not making the right play as he usually does.

He's been to careless/reckless with it. Like DBB he's still over point per game which is hilarious we are "frustrated" with them & they're still putting up #s but we know how good 96 can be. We'll need him to be at his best to win RD3.

It would be sick if sarnia could get Perreault to report next season and then get 1 top american prospect to report in this years draft. Also I wonder what they have planned for the imports next season, be sweet if they could get David Reinbacher to report he’s suppose to go around the middle of the first round in the NHL draft this year. Then possibly trade Limpar-Lantz for a draft pick of two (even though I love his game). That would definitely help the bleeding the next two seasons and make us competitive.

Lantz likely won't be back. He'll be an OA & import. It'll be Vilmanis & Reinbacher or somebody new.

Would definitely be huge to get Perreault. He committed to Boston College so I've personally lost hope he comes, but you never know. He'd get to play a ton, but what incentive can we give him? We are gonna be terrible.

Assuming they don't blow this series they'll get to bring their draft class to the home games vs LDN which will be absolute madness. Hopefully that combined with new facilities, NHL experience on the bench & ownership helps us maybe get some flyers over to build around Fischer, Young, Wainwright, Chartier & whatever other young guys emerge.

Sounds like Mast is back tonight (taking warm-ups at least), but as usual a new player goes out!

This time it's Sikic who won't play tonight. Went back & watched his last 3-4 shifts & nothing stuck out. Never got touched. So gonna assume he is also sick because why not. At this point you gotta assume every guy has had it to some extent. Credit to them for still being 7-2 in the playoffs.

Marko will be the 8th player to miss a game. 9 if u count Hoover. We've played 9 games...

Seca about tomorrow's draft. Team is very happy with their '06 class. Definitely like that Chartier, Doherty, Campbell, Hall have been around the team for awhile. Get to learn from some fantastic players.

Clearly he views it as a 2 yr rebuild, but says he thinks they'll be better than people think next season. Won't lie I don't see it, but he knows better than I.

Look forward to seeing what they come away with this weekend.

Ya I can’t see it at all I think we finish dead last the next two seasons. Hopefully we get some good first overall picks!

Could be opening night roster next season and it looks very very very bad. Could add Anderson to the forward group as an OA.

And that's with Reinbacher haha. It's gonna be a loooooooong yr. But let's enjoy however many games we got left with this group.

Been one helluva run since January.

The feed out of Saginaw is a freakin’ disgrace . The League is making money by selling its package to cable providers like Rogers who charge thru the nose for their Sports Packages and they provide garbage like this .
Hopefully the Sting end it tonight so we aren’t subjected to any more of this crap !
