These are the 2 best teams in the conference. It hasn't been close for a while now. 2 best goalies. 2 best defenses. The boys are gonna have to be tremendously sharp at all times. No more lapses or periods of mediocre play.

Discipline, goaltending, special teams. Likely be the 3 biggest keys of the series. Our PP HAS to be better than it has been & for the love of fricken god dont be careless with it. LDN FEASTS on laziness especially shorthanded. LDNs PP has been on a tear & we can't give them opportunities consistently. Gaudreau vs Brochu will be epic. Ben will have to be incredibly sharp. 7 Shutouts between the two already.

Attention to detail will be huge. As Rob has mentioned, they HAVE to keep their feet moving. No team generates offense by motion more than LDN. They catch you sleeping.

Use our speed & size. LDN had fits dealing with it in the regular season. Exploit it again. They have a fairly small F group. Put it on them. Make them earn it because OS&KIT sure as heck didn't. Arguably the biggest thing in this series will be who has the lead. Both teams are unbelievable when leading. Gotta start on time & dear god if we get a multiple goal lead.. KEEP. YOUR. FOOT. ON. THE. GAS. This will take total buy-in which I believe this team has in them.

We can fricken do this. Let's have some fun.

Last thing on the Saginaw series. Coming into best line in RD1 was Misa-Sapovaliv-Loukas. 12G/22A In 7 games vs Flint.

Vs Sarnia? 4 games. 1 Goal. 1 Assist. COMBINED. An absolute masterclass from this defensive core & in particular Del Mastro who went against them every night. He made Misa & Loukas absolute ghosts as both went pointless.

It's a credit to the entire Dcore + coaches + Gaudreau, too, though for completely shutting down a prolific line like they did.

Also, if I'm not mistaken our leading goal scorer in that series. Easton Wainwright! How about that for a 2nd year player playing L3 & no PP time. 3G (should've been 4, yes still salty) in 4 games. I dont think it's crazy to say he's maybe been maybe our most consistent F outside Burke who has PTs in 8 of 9 in the playoffs. He's been terrific.

What we all wanted. STING vs KNIGHTS round 3! Let’s go. Should be a great series. Happy to see the playoff success for the Sting this year, but so so sorry it all ends this round. It’ll probably be a long series and May the best, hardest working team win!

ends this round?... yeah yeah yeah
As a Sting fan who works in London, it should be a fun couple of weeks. I hope we don't get Hutchison for any games, I think both fan bases can agree on that statement.

As a Sting fan living in London, you better believe it’s gonna be a fun couple of weeks! Already got the jersey hanging from my apartment window for all of London to see ;):cheer:

Be an interesting decision for Sarnia tonight if Nesbitt is available at there pick. Sarnia boy. You'd know they'd love that especially going into a big rebuild.

From everything I've read it wouldn't be a reach as he's projected to be a top 20 pick & has been most of the year.

I personally sort of hope they don't solely because he's more of a power forward. Isn't a great skater but is strong & smart. While that would be great, with how much skill we are losing it would be really nice to get a dynamic, fun, super skilled player.

I say this solely from highlights & articles. I'm hoping for one of Chase Hull, Caden Taylor, Ethan Weir, Aidan Lane, Tanner Lam, Matheas Stark.

I have seen a couple mock drafts that have come out in the last couple of weeks. He’s not listed in the first round or as an honourable mention. He could go in the first round but I think you will see him go in round 2. Be nice to see sarnia grab him in the second. I’d like the sting to take Aidan Lane from the Toronto Marlboros. RW 5’11 170. Years past he was used as a penalty killer and depth forward. This year he has been a top scorer for the Marlboros. Hes a 200 ft player, with real good IQ, Good hands, a real good shot and a big motor. He tries to model his game after David Pastrnak.

Definitely a guy I wouldn't mind. Great shot for his age. Seca loves guys who work hard & play 2way.

I'm only leaning Lam, Hull, Weir because we are gonna have a real lack of facilitators moving forward. Need some dynamic, skilled guys to give guys like Lane the puck.

But I haven't a clue how deep this draft is. Maybe they can get a guy like that in RD2 or RD3 to complement somebody like Lane. I have full confidence in Seca & Co. Should be fun.

London
Well it’s finally here. This is gonna be an awesome series. As a London fan it’s been great but we have only faced the 7th and 8th seed.

You guys have offense, defense and goaltending and you guys are built for this year!

As a Knights fan, my heart wants London to win in 5, but my brain says it will be Sarnia in 6.

Happy for you guys to finally get this far, and I hope to make the trip down to Sarnia to catch a game.

I think it could go either way. Sarnia good in all three positions. London a good team playing real good fast playoff hockey right now. London also has a better coaching staff with a tone of successful playoff experience. Sarnia will definitely need to play harder and play much quicker with and without the puck. Should be an interesting and fun series!

Cheers. I think I can speak for a fair amount of us Sting fans when we say we are equally as nervous heading into this series. We are all aware of our teams ability and potential, but we are also aware of our history against London and how in general, the Knights are never to be taken lightly in the slightest. It’s going to be a war I think. I honestly feel it’s a 50/50 bet at this point. This is no doubt Sarnia’s best shot at finally getting out of the West on top….I’m so pumped!

They played 4 times late in the yr. 3 of the 4 were 1 goal games, 2 went to OT. There was very little between them. I think SAR has the higher ceiling, but LDN has been more consistent in the playoffs.

Both teams are phenomenal with a lead. Whatever team can get them & make the other play their style/pace will probably come out on top.

Gonna be a noticeable uptick for both teams IMO. Neither have faced a team even remotely close to the one they will now. Should be a crazy, tight series. Especially if Brochu & Gaudreau comtinue to play as they have.

Wouldn't be bad, but would hope he's slightly more productive for a 1st rounder, but if he's a do-it-all type F, 25g/40A wouldn't be bad.

5'10 as of now, but everybody in his family is bigger so imagine they hope he grows a couple inches.

Also played a little C so wouldn't be surprised if they tried him there. See what Seca says about him.

ive seen some scouting sites list Brown in the 50's in terms of rankings.... so a bit off the board.

Also worth noting that he's a late birthday, born in late October. Won't turn 16 until he's playing in the OHL, similar to Martone this season

In the vaunted 2nd Round we take RHD, James Barr. 6'1". Had 7G/31A in 34 games.

Like what I hear! Sounds like a Dman with a ton of upside. Number of tools to work with.

Certainly an interesting opening 3 rounds for the Sting. From a ranking perspectives they'd probably rank pretty low on what the consensus was for Brown & Sim.

Still like what I hear about Brown. Love the Barr pick. Not the biggest fan of the Sim one as there were a few others I wanted & because he's only 5'5"...

But the lack of size has never stopped the Sim family from being good hockey players so let's see him before making judgement. See what Seca has to say about them.
