The inability of the ref's to make a call is baffling. It's inexcusable. I really don't care who falls me a whiner. I pay money to this league which delivers a substandard product due to its inconsistency of officiating.

Played big role in both cups. I still remember the trade that got him to LA, for Patrick O'Sullivan. Man, I was so angry. I thought O'Sullivan was a big part of the core, does anyone else remember that?

But yes, the time is up for JW. Any opposing GM watching Williams will know not to give him a big contract, he just doesn't deserve it anymore.

i wonder what the player evaluation will be like in DL's office before the players clear their locker room

God i wish i'd be a fly on the wall to hear what each player has to say to the GM
 
Clifford - x - Nolan will actually function as one of the best fourth lines in the league. Can really only think of mayyyybe three that are currently better and that's debatable because of Team roles. Very happy with them.

What a huge missed opportunity to not trade him at the deadline and get something decent back in return.

I remember that very well. Most fans were moaning the blues because they felt that JW was so injury prone,he'd be useless. Oh, how wrong the were

You're forgetting Muzz and Martinez don't have AAV of $4 each until next year, which really is like taking on a different player. The combined cap hit increases from 2.1 to 8.0.
