The only line playing like they give a **** about this game is the fourth line. The rest of the team has checked out, like they have been over the past week.

Puzzling for sure but maybe not so surprising given the way things have gone this year.

The King of an empire being forced to clean toilets for living

or

A Janitor cleaning toilets?

your answer is: hey if you make me king for a day I'll scrub toilets all year long

the question asked is which one is a bigger fall - that is all

because of course we can take this as far as we can; i'll take it further... finish 1st or 30th it doesn't matter I'd rather be blessed to have a hockey team that can be ranked from 1 to 30 than to have no hockey team at all like Las Vegas or Quebec, right?

it's a valid point because i went outside of the sphere just like you just did

Can't really blame them after being eliminated from playoff contention last game. Hard to get up for a meaningless game. But, before this game? Yeah, there was no reason for that.

I honestly have no idea what you're trying to say here. The only thing I can comment on is that I don't agree with you saying that winning the cup = "king for a day" or that missing the playoffs = "scrubbing toilets for a year."

They've really emerged as better players and it reminds me of what Sutter said about their ages and growth, I think we forget that because most of our guys like briwn kopi etc are approaching 30 we forget that doughty and others are 25 and under. Hell we were still like the 2nd or 3rd youngest team in the NHL last year. A lot of these guys aren't peaking yet and I'm glad clifford and nolan are continually growing into solid bottom sixers doing all the right things

Well, here's my opinion (off-the-wall as usual) I'm thankful for what Sutter has done,but I'd like to see him retire to his ranch and a coach brought in who's more into the Offensive part of the game and try a different approach to how these guys have been trained since days of Murray. Got to do something about the lack of scoring on this team.
 
Wouldn't be shocked if Stoll is back mega cheap. Would be fine as a 13th forward. I'm pretty certain williams is gone. Probably Regehr too unless he pulls a Stoll.
 
I'd be more than fine Shore 3C and Andreoff 4C. Enough with the old legs like Stoll and Richards. We appreciate everything you've done. Stoll, that OT goal vs the Canucks in 2012 will go down as one of the biggest goals in these 3 years. Time to move on. Your girlfriend is a rocket, that is pretty much all you bring to the table at this point.

I'll throw up in my mouth if Stoll comes back at any price. He can't score, pass or win faceoffs anymore. He also takes a ton of awful penalties. He hurts the Kings in every way. I hope today is the last time we see him in a Kings sweater.
 
Are the Kings going to regret that Muzzin/Martinez contract? Should they have let one of them walk? We will see this summer, could be another one of Lombardi's mistakes. Martinez is going to be a $4M 3rd pairing dman.
