Why does anyone give a **** about the whole missing after winning the cup thing? It would be better to miss this year if we didn't win the cup last year? Makes perfect sense...

Bring Weal up, sit Weal, play Andreoff, sit Richards. Guess we know what Sutter thinks of Mike Richards when he can't even afford him a decent enough level of respect to play him in what is likely his last game as a King. What an ass! PS Stoll must be coming back next year- he's dressed and playing.
 
DL and Sutter need to communicate a little better cause the Weal situation is flat out ********

so you don't believe in the saying: "the bigger they are the harder they fall" ?
 
Sutter has been very annoying. We get you're frustrated and upset but don't take it out on reporters like Jon Rosen and even there talking to Jim Fox, you can tell he's annoyed answering questions.
 
This is what i am saying about the first line. One shot and out of zone. No one strong enough to win any battles

If we got swept last year and missed the playoffs this year, then it would make a lot more sense. There's a traction of downfall, a series of events that demonstrates that this team is clearly done. To switch things up. But to win the cup and then miss the playoffs the next year, it just doesn't make sense. The team is too talented to not make the playoffs. Sutter is one of the biggest problems, I haven't wanted him out but his personality these last couple weeks, especially after the Calgary game and today the way he talked to Fox/not playing Weal, is bugging me.
 
Everyone is just a bit cranky today due to Kings not making the p/o's this year. Blaming Sutter or so and so player is just a way of letting off steam. Not making p/o's should really be no surprise after watching this team play this season. I'm just happy for the 2 yrs they got that big prize.

I'm not sure how that even applies in this case. I don't think we're poised for some unrecoverable crash. If you gave me the choice of winning the cup, then missing the playoffs I'd take it every time. Pretty sure any fan would.
 
Also, Jordan Nolan has been a pleasure to watch. Him and Doughty are the only guys playing with heart. You can add Clifford to that group. One of the very few positives this year has been the play of Nolan & Clifford.

I get the frustration, I do. I'm annoyed we didn't make the playoffs, but I just don't put anything EXTRA on it because we won last year and missed this year. You want reasons, there are a bunch of threads that outline them all in great detail.
 
Weal not playing, in what could be his NHL debut, and he's a RFA? I'm sure his agent is pissed off! Wouldn't be surprised to see him sign an offer sheet. Lots of times players won't sign these because their home club can probably match, and they don't want to rub any higher ups the wrong way! But here, I don't know? He's been dissed! No doubt about it!! Wow! I would have rather been Forbort stuck on a plane in Boston!!!!
