Will he take those comments back? A reminder, Marner was the only one from the core who took offense to those comments when Keefe criticized them last year.

Keefes too much of a wuss to say ‘Marner needs to be better’ so he groups in everyone. No hesitation in criticising Nylander though. That said lots of bad plays from multiple players tonight, not just our ‘best players’

I’m surprised the majority of our guys are above 50% and that Minten comes out better than Knies here. McCabe-Klingberg look like crap most of the time so that jives.

you really think Keefe is the issue? It comes down to the piss poor goaltending and D. I mean f*** that Klingberg sucks. The entire D core had to be bottom 5 in the league.
Wouldn't say he's the problem but I don't think he's the answer either.

Spread out the forward talent over 3 lines and commit to team defence. Stack the lines if you need a goal late. This is what puzzles me about Keefe. Going back to the well time after time when it didn't work before. Oh well at least Tre is getting a good look at the tactician that is Keefe.

It says something, but not everything. 4th line is trash. Not sure how to fix that. McCabe has been trash too.

This team probably needs to go on a road trip and figure it out. Going to last year, it felt like they were much better on the road, especially in the first half of the season.

They are deeply disjointed in the details, from the offense to the neutral zone to the defensive zone to goaltending. Nylander, JT, Matthews, Brodie and Rielly are the only ones really play well and at their expected levels.

Bad game. What matters now is how they respond on Thursday.

2-1 after three games. On pace for 54 wins...

Team has not played well yet for more than a few minutes at a time. So we have no idea how good this group can be.

Keefe nailed it with his post game comments, sloppy, loose, carefree. Maybe they can get their shit together on this roadtrip.

It was a very disappointing game, but some people here need to calm the hell down. The sky isn't falling - yet.

It's the first loss of many this season. You move on to the next game and hope they learn from it. As long as the Leafs bounce back next game it's all good
