At least it wasn't as bad as giving them the picks that produced half their young core.
He's probably only our 3rd or 4th best winger prospect too (Kapanen #1, Grundstrom #2, then arguable between Korshkov and Leivo). Probably our biggest wildcard prospect, very enticing tools, but could bust completely.Man if he puts these tools together, the Leafs will be laughing.
Korshkov - Matthews - Marner ;-;

Yeah, no doubt. For that potential Matthews-Marner line, I want either Korshkov or Grundstrom assuming either one pans out. Kapanen to me is a guarantee with Nylander especially with their pre-established chemistry.
He's 3+3 in 6 games after a new coach came. He was 1+2 in 19 before that.
I actually see Korshkov as a pretty safe bet to make the nhl. In what capacity is the question. He's got the size and play style that translates well. The only question for me is whether hes a first line complimentary player or if he's a guy who'll play further down the lineup.He's probably only our 3rd or 4th best winger prospect too (Kapanen #1, Grundstrom #2, then arguable between Korshkov and Leivo). Is his usage better with the new coach? Why do you think he was struggling somewhat to produce before that?

The last ever 31st overall 2nd rounder....
Looking pretty solid so far.
