I think Buchnevich is still very raw. He certainly is talented and has impressive skills, but I'm more reminded of Filatov at the same age with some rough edges.
He has a three year contract that he signed last summer; it expires 4/30/2015.could anyone comment on if he's russia bound? did he sign a longer KHL contract or is he willing to come over? did he or his staff mention anything about that?

If you look up a player on the Russian version of the KHL website, you can see when their contract expires.
For example, here's Buchnevich's profile.
Kuznetsov and Semincan you guys tell me a little more about his play? and who is he comparable to?

Buchnevich, who is No. 10 on Central Scouting's list of the top European skaters, told NHL.com he will spend two more seasons in the KHL before coming to North America. He has two years remaining on his contract with Cherepovets.
The 6-1, 176-pound left-handed shot is very strong on the puck and offers a tremendous wrist shot and one-timer.
Buchnevic took an illegal hit from Ryazantsev who was supended on the play.. Out with a concussion now, don't know if he'll be ready for, or in top form for the WJC... Huge blow to the offense considering Tolchinsky and Tkachyov have already been left off.
He is looking really good on the world juniors. I think he has a really high upside, with the right tools, Rangers will have a stud in future.
Yeah, definitely. After trading their first round picks for several years in a row, getting two guys last year who could have first round talent (Duclair and Buchnevich) was pretty huge.
Hopefully Buchnevich continues to play like this and puts up some great numbers in the KHL this year, then comes over next year. If he could crack the Rangers 2015 lineup that would be pretty big
Exactly! They've been drafting extremely well in the later rounds. The potential of not only Duclair and Buchnevich, but also Graves, Skapski, and Shesterkin (there are others but just to name a few) seem to look bright, too. If he continues this surge, he'll probably make the 2015-2016 NYR squad.
who are some good comparisons for this guy? Very intrigued to draft him in my keeper league.... just a typical real skilled Russian that has potential to put up huge points?
